But with that said, no episode with Will Ferrell returning as George W. Bush, can ever be truly terrible.

This episode was pretty eh, in my opinion. Granted Chris Hemsworth really did a decent job as a returning host (got to admit he had perhaps the 2nd best monologue of this season) , but in terms of sketches, while none were really horrible I can't help that the writers were saving all their A material for next week.

Yeah like I said Winter Soilder is the rare MCU sequel that I actually thought was not only great, but was actually superior to the first one.

Yeah you have a point there. I can't remember a thing in terms of the villains motivation in the first Thor movie, but I definitely remember how funny it was when Thor was in the diner and said "This drink, I like it, Another'.

Oh no make no mistake, I will definitely most likely see Civil War in theaters. But in terms of excitement pool I am kind of eh at the moment.

Considering the villains are usually the worst part of most MCU movies, forgive me if I disagree with everything you just said.

If Captain America: Civil War was a great trailer for a movie I'm still not interested in at the moment and Batman V Superman was a badly done trailer for a film that still looks promising and exciting.

Not going to lie though, still not feeling Winn. I get it he is the dorky awkward friend with a good heart, much like Cisco on The Flash. But amazingly despite all his supposedly good traits, I can't help but see him as a nuisance.

Oh wow Oh wow, Oh wow, I loved this episode. Yes the Superhero losing their power plot-point is rather old hat, but when you can utilize it well, then I have no compliant.

I also have to mention that as a Leon Bridges' fan, I am really hoping his appearance on SNL last nite grants him some well needed exposure. The guy is pure talent, and I look forward to seeing him evolve from his current Sam Cooke-esque style and seeing where he will venture off musically.

Kate McKinnon performance in the Alien sketch and seeing Aidy and Bobby trying and failing to not break the sketch, is all the evidence I will ever need that Kate will be remembered as a legend among the cast.

Admittedly I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the current Update staff. On one hand I wish they would go into the serious implications of the news they are satirizing and not just play things for joke milage (something Seth Meyers was pretty good at during his update run), granted Michael kind of does it

Well obviously they are differences here and there between me and her.

Kara's hangups over seeing James with Lucy hit close to home for me. I was just talking to friend of mine about why I still get hangups when thinking about my ex as well as having terrible luck in moving on to someone else, when I see all friends in their successful relationships, it's hard not to feel as though that

But what really made me love last nights episode, was when Kara spoke about her fear of never being able to live a normal life and the emotional tole of being Supergirl. This is the first episode of the show that really reminded me of The Flash, in how yeah sure it's awesome these characters have these lovely powers

Wow I know I am definitely going to be in the minority here, but not only did I like last nights episode, honestly I think it's the best episode of the series so far.

She's referenced in one scene

I agree tremendously. I've mentioned it before, but I like how they set up the typical Betty-Archie-Veronica love triangle, only to switch it up by having the respective Veronica give a good case for why she is the Betty.

Yeah it really does, I feel that this show is moving better and better in the right direction. It amazes me how a lot of the people who love The Flash, do nothing but shit on Supergirl, when the only real differences is that one has a female lead. Fanboys are a mystery too me. But anyway I hope this show can do better

I would argue that the love triangle is handled in a more mature way. Like I said before, it would have been easy to just write Lucy Lane as some bitchy, vapid trug of a character and for us to all hate. But they made the smart decision by making her a decent person who had hangups of her own in regards to seeing
