Agreed. Getting into the classification of Hymenoptera is easier these days than getting into Vassar. Frankly, I find the unrealistic body standards placed upon the members of the Hymenoptera family incredibly offensive! Sad!

Fleetwood Mac is serviceable, and I've certainly softened my opinion of them with age, but I still just hear radio gaga when I hear them…there's no "balls" or innovation.

Fair enough on reference point. However, I respectfully disagree on Wilson-Phillips as "good"…I don't think 1-hit wonders in their vein are good at anything beyond cashing-in on the trend of the moment.

What I don't understand about recent album reviews-and it's not exclusive to the AVC-is using bands like Fleetwood Mac and Wilson-Phillips as examples of "good" music. I was in my 20's when Wilson-Phillips came out, and it was rightly derided as top 40 garbage…is it because most reviewers weren't born when it came…
