You'd have to bury me deep, deep in the ground before I ever recognize it as "McLennan Park".
A mountain of trash it was, and a mountain of trash it shall always be.

I wouldn't say Gord Downie is a poet laureate…what's that song about Bill Barilko (sp?)…? The lyrics sound like he's reading info off of Wikipedia…
ROB WRIGHT, though…that guy's a fucking brilliant lyricist..

Fair enough. Cheerfully withdrawn!

That comment is a piece of crap.

Al Dubois! We used to get really high and watch that every afternoon…awesome show…I still beep the theme song when I drive.

Yeah, there's really nowhere to play…the mid to late 90's had so many clubs and venues, we could play somewhere different every weekend for months…now…fuck all.

I've seen them live about 10, 12 times?

Nope-just north of you!
Good ol K'town!
Maybe *I* fucked up my facts-maybe it's the guitarist…?
Either way-yeah, Derma Helix!
She was also married to Tino Montaé…if that name rings any bells

Apparently…I'm just as confused as you

No need-I believe most of them are dead.

Apology accepted, son.

I think we live in the same town.
My ex-girlfriend's mom (creator of the Derma Wand) is married to the drummer of Helix

You have no idea, do you? Sports websites in Canada have been featuring more articles on the Hip than Olympic athletes in recent weeks, and gushing over the ties that the Hip have to hockey culture. Of course, the Rheostatics have much more of an interwoven history with hockey, but, you know "Blow At High Dough", and
