If I ever play as a female redhead, I always name her Willow Rosenberg, always as a magic user, and I never have any regrets.

We live in a suburb house right now and man, equity just feels so good. There are a lot of little expenses that can add up with house maintenance as well, but at least its yours. I've lived in downtown apartment areas before, not in a big city but still, and it really soured me on urban living. Little privacy,

Nevermind that then, moving down the street is incredibly convenient. Everytime I've moved in the last few years, it's been a "drive cross town" affair.

This weekend will be Boardgame Night with Time Stories . We'll be doing the Dragons expansion, which means the game will take on a lot of fantasy rpg elements.

Best advice I got on moving between places was "hire professional movers". Rather than have it become such a long grueling process, you get it done in a short afternoon. Well worth it if you have a lot of furniture.

That was a sobering visual.

With little else on TV I started to catch up on The Middle reruns. I always forget how obnoxious Axel is on the show. A surprisingly spoiled kid considering his family background. Watching "The Real O'neil's" dim, jock older brother made me appreciate that the stock sitcom character doesn't have to be that terrible.

eh, he also publicly declared a giant mercenary army would be a great peacekeeping force. His own side had to call him out on how bs insane it was. I don't expect too much of him in the long term.

I see where you're coming from, on holding up religions accountable for the homophobia inscribed in their texts, but in my point of view, there are real world consequences for creating "Radical Islam" as the go-to buzzword. Fighting over terms will do nothing in actually stopping further attacks.

"The idea that the problem with terrorism is that we're not using the right term to describe it just so dumb it hurts."

I don't mean this insultingly, but I think that you're being naive about people's ability to distinguish between the Pulse shooter and other Muslims. We already have enough racists protesting outside of mosques with assault rifles. I don't disagree with the language the President has chosen to use in the past. The

My dream ticket at this point would be Clinton/Warren. How likely do any of you think that is to happen? It would be very unprecedented and would probably bring out all the sexists, but then you have the most odious Republican candidate we've had in recent memory so that if there was any time to have an all woman

I don't know about that. This is a guy who refuses to understand how tides work.

Agreed on most of it. I thought the Hound scene was just a waste of time and Ian McShane. Out of all the plate-spinning we have, spending so much time on giving secondary character the will to fight again felt wasteful

Jon and co's story has been very oddly written since this season's started. I'm personally just really confused by the lack of Sansa/Brienne reaction to learning that not only is magic real, but so are apocalyptic ice zombies and the ability to resurrect the dead.

It is movie shorthand in the actual movie, not something used for posters. And thats still besides the fact that their biggest star is unrecognizable in make up.

I just want to scribble all over this with an unyielding red pen

But they didn't, and they wont.

And that's what's really getting to me is how many av regulars aren't just getting that. If they used ANY other male character it would be a much more battle-oriented ad. They definitely would never have giant posters showing any other male superhero in such a physically submissive position.

Yeah I remember three old Twilight zone episodes (a show half a century old) that ended with that specific twist.
