I agree, i liked limitless, but having said that it seemed to lose its way a little towards the end of the final series.
As for Frequency i was enjoying it until the business with her not answering her mother on the radio ( she could help her dad but not her mother ,,please,,) that gave me the first warning bell.
Then…

I wouldn't worry about the series and movie storys colliding, the series which if it hopes to run into other series ( it won't , it will be cancelled very soon i believe ) would have to change a lot in order to extend its run.
But don't bother getting too invested it will never be resolved.
