Dexys had six top 20 singles in the UK - Come On, Eileen isn't even their only #1 hit. I think T'Pau had a few more British hits as well. Still both technically one hitters on this side of the ocean though, I guess. I would've liked to see the Closing Time write-up as well, if I'm being honest.

Seriously, how long is it gonna take for his boneitis to flare up so this can all be over?

Maybe it's time for a new gimmick.

I thought you were probably joking. Consider it the royal you, for the inevitable idiots that won't be joking.

If you can't figure it out from the article title, you kinda deserve to have the movie spoiled for you.

I'm really of two minds about spoilers. Obviously it's bad form to intentionally spoil big moments/endings/etc for people, but the whole "I have a Google Alert for GOT but will blow a fucking gasket if I happen upon the tiniest spoiler" thing kind of irks me. The net is a big place and it should be at least to some

Actually, it was Rory Culkin… just kidding.

I was originally going to comment to say that it was Marg Helgenberger in Nowhere to Run, but then I looked it up and it was really Rosanna Arquette. Which I guess goes to show just how memorable the movie really is.

Yes, Ayoade is probably best known for playing Maurice, alongside Chris O'Dowd's popular portrayal of Mr. Trenneman.

Nine episodes? Fantastic, I was just thinking that the only thing missing from season one was an extra hour of wheel spinning.

That's totally fair. I also realize that I'm wrong - it was Radiohead on the player piano and paint it black was the orchestral cue. I thought for a moment they might've been trying to go with a black/white theme to the song choices a la black hat/white hat, but I don't think that's played out in the other cues.

They make such a point of showing us the player piano for both "Paint It Black" and "Black Hole Sun" that I assumed it was a comment on one of the ways the park caters to the guests, by playing muzak versions of classic rock instead of period-appropriate songs.

So you're positing that pretentious = not logically sound?

I was pretty much on board up until D'Onofrio almost literally phoned in the monster's whole backstory. It was like they forgot they hadn't covered that yet and instead of writing a scene or two where Hawke figures it out himself, they said "eh, let's just have somebody call him up and tell him."

Don't know if anyone will care, but here's something you might want to read before shopping at Spirit Halloween. http://www.cbc.ca/news/cana…

Why can't you just let me live?

Gee, I hope they take all the secondary characters that were intriguing in small bits and give them full storylines. I can't wait to spend 10 minutes an episode on Mr. Clarke's relationship problems.

I actually prefer the solo work of Jennifer Raphael Saadiq myself.
