This is the most accurate description of what's wrong with this show that I've ever read.

She has a point, though. The only thing missing from this show is to give the Mexican characters some sombreros and have them all talking like Speedy Gonzales or Cheech.

I agree. I think AHS is self aware and some of what gets criticized is done purposefully and people take it too seriously. I think you can tell when writers are not self aware, just look at the lame dialogue in TWD. They try hard to be grave and serious but it's just tedious. I think AHS is deliberately kinda

I though the same about Lee, and I thought, too, that if she went so far as to kidnap her daughter she'd never bring her back there after everything she had seen.

This episode was not as good as last week's, but it was fun. I think that this is the type of show which is entertaining and fun if you go into it with low expectations. I do agree, however, that Shelby's actions are so different than last week's that it really doesn't make any sense. And I don't buy that she

It would be so great if her character never wore a bra.

Yes! What annoyed me more than Maggie forgetting she had a sister was all these people who all of sudden thought Beth was the greatest character ever and went on and on about how tragic her death was. Puh-lease. No one cared about Beth, not even the characters on the show.

75% B, 25% A. Maybe closer to 90/10.

Hmmm, I'll wager than in the future we see Madison call Nick by Mr. Clarke's name and Nick will be all "I'm not Dad, ok! I'm your junkie son! I do drugs! Drugs make me MacGuyver!"

That's ok. I hate watch TWD for all the same reasons you just mentioned.

That is true. Who would've ever thought this show could pull off complexity like that???

Oh ok, that makes sense. I figured that given this show's tendencies to overlook details that these were non English speakers who are now damn near fluent within a couple of months.

There is no difference. It is The Walking Dead: Los Angeles.
It's the same show. just with a different setting and the characters have different names, kinda like the CSI franchise.

Same here. I kinda like this better than TWD right now, but that's just because TWD is not self aware and has gotten really dull and annoying. FTWD is not a bad show but episodes like this one make any progress the characters make, or at least Madison, come to a screeching halt.

I'm pretty sure there will be some shark jumpy crap where she either shows up on TWD or some TWD character shows up here.

25 days? There's no way that in less than a month all this has happened. That's barely over 3 weeks and a good 2 of those weeks would be spent trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

The only reason I watch TWD is because there is a really good podcast about it that I enjoy so I want to know what happens. But if I miss an episode I usually don't make it a point to catch up. I think I actually like FTWD better than TWD at this point.

The first half of this season was really bad then it came back with like a good episode or two, and now this episode was really in the shitter. Madison single handedly sunk this episode and any forward momentum it had gained. We're almost back to the point where Travis watched his neighbor eat a dog in his living

What I find funny, too, is that some of the people at Colonia are learning English as Nick is learning Spanish ( I think) and they're using really advanced levels of grammar. I remember the kids taking ESL in school and I assure you they did not use participles and modifiers when they were first picking up the

I kept imagining the Smoky and the Bandit theme song playing in that one episode where Rick and Daryl found the supply truck last season. You know, that one they watched sink into a lake while making no attempt to salvage any of the supplies.
