    After reading the book, I was so excited for that series. Gave up about 20 minutes into the first episode. So bad.

    Christ, I usually tend to identify with the protagonists in TV shows, so I can leave each episode feeling good. To that end, I took to the Starks in season 1 as someone who had never even heard of the books prior to watching the show.
