Why do the characters have to talk in speeches? Is it just me who finds this annoying? At least there was no door open door closed open closed open closed!!! between Fitz and Olivia this time, there is usually one per episode, and that douchebag always wins.

Has the show changed or gone down hill since seasons 1 and 2 which I enjoyed so much (whereas now it's gotten to almost hate watch levels, and ALL Olitz scenes are passionately hate watched) or is it just that it got old?

I think #TeamFUOlitz is the strongest allegiance I've ever felt for a team (though in all fairness I don't think I've even used the term before STILL THOUGH it shows my feelings on this subject for me to enter hashtag team territory for the first time). For me, it has gotten to the point where all Olitz scenes can

Don't tell the Beehive people your opinion of Beyonce, you'll get the jelly label Wendy did (I got it myself earlier today because I said I didn't want her new video album). That jelly point was a pretty good comment on not just hater v feminst I thought, but how criticism is sometimes lazily deflected.

It sure was. I'm one of the Fitz haters, so clearly I have my bias, but I felt like there hasn't been a lot of Fitz putting in place-ing on the show so far, which made this feel like it had a lot of impact, but I could be wrong.

I may have actually fist pumped when he went off on his rant. TRUER WORDS Papa Pope.

I don't doubt the Perot/Nader effect could be in play, and I would welcome it with open arms as I hate Fitz with a passion, but just ahhhhh the lameness of the show being all "if you run as an I you can slaughter the incumbent President no question about it you just YOLO!!!" is cringeworthy.

I definitely agree that it was better than YOLO. I cringe just thinking about that episode, and not even because of the torture (in my opinion the wrist eating was way worse), just because of how bad the entire episode was.

I was really surprised at my tolerance for Breaking Bad scenes as well, so maybe it's me who has changed. I just remember having to sit through American History X in middle school, and it was the worst thing ever (at the time) and since then I always cringed at violence and generally just watched comedy shows (and

Wops, replied to the wrong comment sorry.

I agree! Mellie is the best, her husband is the worst, and Olivia is actually pretty great too, but her relationship with the President is also the worst, so it's making it hard for me to root for her. I know it's not what the show is about, but if she dumped Fitz and worked for Mellie's campaign the possibilities

I didn't find the torture scenes that gory??? Is there something wrong with me? Because I don't generally have very high tolerance for these things. I don't even watch most dramatic shows because I can't handle the violence, but maybe this was so ridiculous that it wasn't as painful to watch as the people behind the

I know this is several weeks delayed, but I'm relatively new to AVClub (and why??? I have been ruining my soul trying to knock sense into EW.com readers….) and this hashtag is the greatest thing I have come across yet. In life. STEALING IT NOW.
