Do you ever hear anything about the band The Blue Hippos? I was really into this band back in the 80's but never saw them and don't know anyone else who even heard of them. They put out two records on the TwinTone label but I don't have a clue how popular they were regionally if at all.

Their last 3 albums have been really good.

The Bad Brains seemed to straddle that line. It's interesting to note that the Wiki page for the label Megaforce Records lists Living Colour as one of their Metal Artists and Bad Brains as Non-Metal.
