Yes! https://www.youtube.com/wat… I actually missed this first time around so thank you!
While I'm 100% in favor of all clapbacking and parodying, I gotta say these dudes are covering territory that's already been covered in plenty of opening salvos. If they were wiser and had a better grasp of satire, they might have

If we'd had Youtube back then, someone could've clapped back with The Wedgie Song.

Not as much as my boobs do.

I'd hit it, but only after a spa day.

Colossaller than Jennifer Grey's nose job colossal! But see, what had happened was, he had had a day off…

Tsk, tsk. If nothing changes, nothing changes.

Well somebody had to say it. I've wanted to butt into people's convos all month about the Pearl Jam Soldier Field show with "he's still alive?" but I didn't, 'cause I'd enjoy it more than them and that would be selfish.

Sadly and hilariously I think you're right. Gen X has pretty much gone senile at this point. The reason I know this is because I can't remember note #1 of that Spin Doctors song and I'm scared to get an earworm if I google it.

I need a hose.

Welp, I've gone full Grey's Anatomy on this show, which is to say I loathe all characters equally and anticipate their suffering and carnage - the more pain, the better to watch. Because they're made-up characters that don't effectively serve the story they're trying to tell, whatever that is. Anyone else read the

Then you become Chicago and get cashmere sportsball championships every other year but it just makes you a bigger asshole.

You just reminded me how I had an old car with no tape deck and had to drive around a lot. And yeah, it was pretty okay when the alternatives were talk radio, static, and the rest of the radio. I think it was on at midnight, so it also signified you'd made it through another day.

Yoga Jones got a brief flashback in an earlier season of her drunkenly shooting a kid in her pot field thinking the kid was vermin, IIRC. She mostly talked about it and then they showed it, I think. How did the recap end up so dry when the show was so juicy? Don't answer that. I don't care. I'll let myself out.

I'm (cautiously) excited about the mental health arc too. Rachel's compulsive manipulation makes the show great. Her self-loathing defines her. I imagine her mom is a terrible prescriber and she's never been on the right meds. And I guess her mother is the only one she can't manipulate. But if she gets decent

Can you see Mr. Big going and tattling to Carrie's mother about her mental health?

And anyway, he's only "football black."

I'll buy the Empire comparison. Both are showbiz shows populated by morally bankrupt, high-libido individuals who like to talk trash and thwart each other. But Empire leaves me scratching my head while this show makes me think about relationships and choices and the shitty but hilarious nature of humans.

I saw a lady smoke with hers in Amsterdam. She was on stage. I was on my honeymoon. Good times.

Now that people mention it, I see that Jay's dialogue isn't really Jay-like this year. It's more like he gets the "dissenting opinion" lines because somebody has to say them. And what type of college makes you drop out instead of just deferring your graduation? Is the Ivy League that uptight? But maybe contrarianism

Catherine does resemble Sad Piglet though.
