I didn't mean that there was any mutual attraction. But as a "babysitter", Earl is somebody who Ava will be able to manipulate - gaining needed privacy (phone calls) and even brief escapes into the world (to visit friends and others). He could become a very loose-leash.

I think Earl is a vehicle to further the story more than anything. He's obviously enamored with Ava. Ava will be able to manipulate him to her needs. Having said that, putting a young, good-looking man in charge of watching your wife … it's a real fox watching the henhouse situation! ;)

In Andy Griffith fashion they could break into the safe … and find Raylan (or Markham) sitting there! ;)

Farewell Choo-Choo, we hardly knew ye.
I had high, yet admittedly contrived hopes for this character. I was hoping he'd find a soul mate in the prostitute and maybe do an Amtrak on at least one of those henchmen who treated him like hired dirt. If I knew where the funeral was, I'd show up with roses.
Seems like

All these revisitations from characters from previous seasons is starting to resemble the "Seinfeld" finale - but in a good way! Sort of a curtain call for all these fantastic actors and characters!
The ironic, yet slightly expected alignment of Raylan and Boyd (and Ava?) seems to be shaping up. Ava could certainly

C+? This is actually the first episode of this season that made me laugh at all! Yes, some of the plots and scenarios were retreads, but for me this was the funniest so far this season.

Sometimes, the show can be so subliminal. I had to explain that one to everyone in the room!

I read that they're shooting the final episode this week. It would be so great if Sigourney Weaver made a cameo appearance … right before Tim goes missing for good!

That scene was more Carl Hiassen than Elmore Leonard! I was hoping Busey would be around for at least a little while!

As part of a news writing class (journalism major), the professor asked the class to name a bunch of very improbable incidents or events. Everything from invading Martians to the resurrection of Elvis was suggested. Then the prof' issued the assignment: write a newscast reporting all of these basically impossible

Choo-Choo is going to be (for me) a very likable bad guy … right up to his demise. Seems he and the prostitute just know more than their pay-grade should allow. This is a great vehicle for disseminating knowledge to the viewer and the senior-baddies.

As long as we're projecting and predicting finale scenarios:

This episode was primarily to place the game pieces in their proper locations on the board. The dice won't roll in earnest until next week.
Dewy was like a scraggly, yet cute puppy that just couldn't be housebroken! I'll miss that character!

Let me just say that most rock bands and television series either peak or make their entire statement in 5 years time. I've been a gigantic fan of this show since the beginning, but it's starting to seem a little stale. It's either a case of the writers well having run dry or the "kids" having grown out of their

This was like watching your favorite sports team - picked to win by double digits, suddenly finding themselves losing in upset to the laughing stock of the league. I could only shake my head in disbelief.

You do realize that the word "gay" was in use and had other meanings for centuries before it became a pseudonym and connotation for homosexual behavior, right?

There's too much poop on your lawn! ;)

Best line of the episode! I could've just turned off the tube and gone to bed after that.

Well, this has been like watching a loved one die a slow death. Yeah, we could see it coming.

Modern Family is plagued by the same problem that has led to the demise of so many other shows that feature young children in the cast. The cuteness and innocence of these characters lent so much to the humor in past seasons. These kids grow up and either their cuteness fades or it becomes apparent that they have no
