If he was using it to describe protesters of North Carolina…that would be out of line. But he's talking about people outraged over a comic book character.

They could have just called Tilda's character "Dr. Druid" or "Agatha Harkness" or "Roma" and avoided this whole mess.

Was it always a negative term? I recall at first people embraced it (although it really is self-aggrandizing).

Has Laurel Lance been buried over on Arrow yet? Because we did see Barry show up in the funeral flash forward with super speed.

I think she's sincere about the Cate Blanchett shots.

The Simpson trial was longer ago than many of us care to admit. It would be like "Friends" or "Home Improvement" made witty references to the Watergate Hearings. (Maybe they did, but they just went right over my generation's heads?)

A bit character?
Fey's Marcia Clarke was in three episodes last season, and fairly high profile, given that she was Emmy nominated for it.

In the books, the Dornish are tied to the Sellsword invasion of Westeros and the lost/fake Targaryan heir, which the show is evidently dropping.
Even if they simplified the Dornish storyline, they still could have made it a more compelling subplot last season. Just turning everybody into lunatics and idiots this week

Or Adam II

Or Nuking Japan's Pacific territories.

I think his acting career is the only interesting thing about him. His power is ill defined enough to do whatever the writer wants it to do.
And his backstory is villain redemption/misguided revenge plot that's been done with dozens of characters (including Quicksilver in last year's Ultron.)

What is the initials for that?

And the Elvis song.

No he did mocap for the part….even took two branches up his nose. Nathan commits.

It's a very narrow tightrope, but these are talented writers. And the surrealist approach of the show does help the absurd comedy coexist with the dark.subtext.

Obviously the show doesn't want to dwell on it or spell it out because it's a comedy, and that sort of thing could kill everyone's sense of humor.
But it also doesn't want to.insult the audiences intelligence by suggesting it as a G rated kidnapping. What do you think went on? Did the Rev want to hold a couple women

In their print ads they always showed their giant martini glass bathtub; which always looked dangerous to me. How could guests get in and out of it, especially naked?

Can we assume that casting misheard David Lynch but he decided to give them both roles anyway?

Hey! Lauren Tewes is in this?!
Kind of appropriate, since this cast looks like a ridiculously overbooked sweeps episode of The Love Boat.

If Bill Murray is willing to play him….sure.
