Astrid was a supporting character. She served her purpose and I don't think we needed to to know more about her character

Just an fyi. Wyman didn't create Fringe nor was he a showrunner when the show began. He later became a co showrunner but the guys who are now doing Sleepy Hollow and also Jeff Pinker (Lost, Alias) were from Fringe from the beginning.

Though Urban isn't all that great in AH. Rather stiff.

I don't think this show will be ever as good as Fringe. Wyman is running things on his own and he was only one part of Fringe

Sleepy Hollow does a nice job of filling that Fringe void. This show I'm not sure yet

Both Sleep Hollow and Almost Human were created by those who worked on Fringe. For me SH feels more like Fringe than AH does with its mythology and overall weirdness.

I always find it an exaggeration when they say Anna sucked in S1. Her accent slipped now and then( so did Nobles) but to me she was a strong lead from the start. I always wanted to watch her. She was a convincing FBI agent.

Castle is never very good

I remember loving the Abby seasons of ER.  In the end she turned out to be my all time favorite character of the show.

lol. I was thinking the same thing. Same with Friends.  One show that I don't recall ever making me laugh.

Glad to see AV Club giving Farscape the much deserved attention.   Farscape along with Fringe and XFiles are the shows I became the most emotionally invested in the characters and story.

I like Ruben.  I have more of a problem with the show bringing back Tammy and keeping Dewey around.
I also find the character development of Ben a bit confusing. He's went from a wet behind the ears rookie to a cynical jackass without us seeing much of how he got there.

I thought the actress who played Aeryn was terrific.  A shame she didn't move on to bigger projects.

Farscape is one of my favorite shows. One of the best sci fi shows I've ever seen.  I actually didn't realize he had done other stuff other than Farscape.
I'm disappointed that this appears to suck.

I think the author has the tea party mixed up with Occupy Wallstreet.

I can't believe this show gets to its 8th season but Fringe barely makes it to 5.
Actually I can believe it but thinking about it makes me so sad.

I'm hoping its by design that Olivia has sort of taken a backseat so far and that will change in the last few eps.
Olivia did have a special relationship with the boy from Inner Child so I expect that relationship to be interesting when they meet the boy again.
But yeah so far I'm missing Agent Dunham.

Though Fringe is all about family. Olivia, Walter and Peter.

I thought it was terrific. Intense through out. I don't know about anyone else but I was holding my breath thru most of it.  Loved seeing September with Olivia stopping the bullet. Olivia was so fascinated and interested in him. I loved it. September is such a fascinating character.    Peter and Olivia having to jump
