Really really hoping they have big sister moments planned for next week. They need to make up for that fight. It was hard to watch. I can imagine it must be hard for them to act especially since they get along so well.

Maybe Chris is helped by the fact he can act. Don't know about Blake. To be fair though, I only watched him in Glee and I think glee did a great job of underutilising/mistreating talents. Exhibit A: Melissa Benoist. I never realized the potential she had as an actor when I watched glee. Although her vocals never…
so was it just me or the 'forest' in National City looks awfully similar to the Gorilla City from Earth-2 Africa? ;)
I actually agree with you in terms of Mon-El being disrespectful towards Kara in that scene. I was especially glad that Kara totally held her own and told him off for trying to 'protect her honor' as if she couldn't do that by herself. But, I still don't think he came from a bad place and the writers or whoever…
Honestly, I will be really agitated if they don't visit this whole debacle in some capacity because that scene was extremely hard for me to watch since Alex has been all about protecting Kara, which she has never failed to express explicitly. So, it was especially cruel for her to so casually spit out harsh words like…
Also, I agree with everyone that said that the show is getting too Mon-El heavy recently. I really miss seeing the story unfold through Kara's perspective. Like I ave said before, Melissa Benoist is a phenomenal actress if they let her be, and unfortunately this season she has not gotten to show her acting chops that…
I think the writers honestly believe the Kara/Mon-El bickering/fighting/being mean to each other, etc. is all cute and funny, and they can be in some instances (the HR scene and the DEO arguing scene from last week imo were funny/cute/well done).
But, if they really want everyone to buy their relationship more, I hope…
honestly, i think 'toxic' is a bit too strong a word to use. But they were definitely not meshing well together at some points in the story. Hopefully, as shown in the last scene where both seemed to acknowledge each other the best way they have so far, means that we will not be visiting the same story beats again.
re: Alex abandoning her sister.
This felt especially odd/shitty for Alex to behave like because literally two episodes ago, Kara had explicitly expressed her fear of abandonment from Alex, and Alex had promised she would always be there no matter what.
Or maybe it was foreshadowing? idk
I miss The Good Place! But we got a second season, right?
I think people are judging him too harshly for whatever reasons. I mean Kara has had 13 years to get accustomed to Earth's culture. Mon-El was (i'm assuming) well into his mid-late 20s when his world ended. So obviously it is going to take him some time before he can completely shade off his past self.
And i lowkey…
Exactly!! This has been largely my stance as well. Mon-El's feeling towards Kara is definitely fake; he likes (loves) her for sure. So, if the guy is sincere in his feeling towards her, AND she is happy, I will definitely root for them. Especially, given in the recent episodes Kara has been quite lonely and sad imo,…
One of the reasons I see 'potential' in the relationship is something you touched upon here. Everyone in National City treats Kara like she is a saint who would never be wrong and are most of the time agreeing with her or put her up on a pedestal. But, she obviously is flawed especially on her treatment to Mon-El at…
Am I the only one that is hoping there will be some Kara-Iris scenes in the musical crossover where they bond over their shared occupation of being a reporter? (I'm sure i'll be disappointed though but it would really be cool to see this)
I believe we will be witnessing the Earth-2 African jungle again in Earth-38 Supergirl next week. Both shows filmed a forest scene in the same location (some Park in Vancouver, i think?). It will be fun to see if it looks exactly the same..
Also, that last kiss (makeout session) was too hot for TV. I did not mind it.
oh ok. Then that scene probably has jumped to my fav scene of the week. Will have to watch again.
I don't know if someone here has already brought it up, but i REALLY wanna know why Kara was drinking a glass of Orange juice when she landed on the Fortress? I mean she flew half way around the world with a glass of OJ in her hands. lol
Agree 100% .. I loved it!
I am not sure if someone else has already mentioned this but ….
WHAT'S IN THE BOX!!!
