This surely will show up on the deleted scenes, i'm sure :D

The Bat-hope is still alive on Supergirl though!

Well, to be fair, the alien did not know it was a life threatening virus that was raining down on them.

Excuse you! Supergirl was more than watchable without Cisco. Yes, That line was funny and Cisco is great but so is Supergirl.

"Also, i think we need to start hiding the key to the fortress."

yup!! I will probably make myself sick rewatching the crossover event over and over again throughout the long hiatus!

I think Kara selectively uses superhearing just like her x-ray vision. She doesn't have to be aware of what people are saying ALL the time. Especially when she is in a safe environment of friends and family.

Did Kara kill Kelex??

Yep.

Yes. If I'm not mistaken, the show is not returning until mid January after next week's crossover.

But last season, didn't the army guy (Harper?) mention Cadmus as a place where they took most aliens they captured to experiment on them. He was taking J'onn and Alex there as well. This gave me the impression that the government is cooperating with Cadmus.

I was totally expecting Jeremiah to betray Kara at one point. I am very fascinated by the fact that he has been with Cadmus for 15(?) years and yet seemed to be completely normal without any damage to his previous personality.

I was legit worried for Supergirl's safety this episode even though I knew she'd get out of it. But she really seemed rattled.

I would rather have a whole season of just Alex and Kara hitting each other with pillows and eating pot stickers than have any Guardian at all.

Apparently, Maggie does not know Kara is Supergirl so that's something, I guess.

The scene with the three men all in love with Kara at various points was super awkward and therefore great.

^This!
I want to rewatch this episode but just thinking about all the Guardian stuff just stops me from doing so.

They should have done Guardian in a way where we could have had small doses of James slowly rising to the occasion by learning from experience, training, etc. Maybe start small by helping people in a minor way like what Kara did in one of the episodes of season 1.
Just making him a badass right out of the gate by

I would have rated this episode at least one grade higher than I did if only there was more Supergirl and less Guardian. At this point the character is taking time away from the stuff that I Really want to see, i.e. the character of Supergirl doing more Supergirl things.

"What if Killer Frost wasn’t the villain in that vision and Vibe was?"
