I really wish they hadn't gone the tremendous hype frenzy route with this game. It was announced almost three years ago now, and the endless tease of promotion and bits of gameplay aren't doing much but fan the flames. Maybe they just should have kept it under wraps until it was mostly ready, announced it at this

Yeah, I meant it was pretty realistic up to that point. I would rather they left magic out of it entirely but I guess that's not really permissible for a Japanese RPG.

Wait till the price drops. That's my plan.

I wish you the best of luck on completing the NPC questlines. One of the most frustrating parts of NPC quests in the Souls games is how you they can be completely ruined by you simply progressing through the game. I missed the entire Eileen the Crow's questline in my first playthrough of Bloodborne because I beat the

Wow a mimic bonfire would be so genius. Imagine the excitement and relief of finding a bonfire when you need it most getting trashed when it attacks you upon trying to light it. That's such a cleverly evil trick I'm surprised they haven't done it yet.

I thought so too, there wasn't really any build-up to the boss, it was just sort of there because the game needs a end boss fight. Also, the ending I got, true to From form, basically told me nothing. Resolution doesn't seem to be a big thing for them.

While everyone seems to be playing Overwatch, I'm currently making my way through Valkyria Chronicles Remastered. I've wanted to play it for a while, and the convenience of the PS4 release finally got me to take the plunge.

I wasn't suggesting that it was true, that's why I said "supposedly." Facebook did go on record saying they have an editorial staff that influences what stories get into their trending topics, and I don't exactly trust Facebook to be the most unbiased news source.

Exactly. The build up with the chair and his subsequent inability to sit in it properly, heavy-handed as it was, pretty much summed that up.

That seems to be Silicon Valley in a nutshell: Richard screwing himself over, and a divergent plot suddenly coming in to miraculously save him. I was thinking it was odd that Jack seemed set up to be the main antagonist, but I guess I forgot that the show has a permanent one in Richard himself.

Someone probably said this before, but it's amusing that the subplot about Hooli censoring content was introduced right around the time it came out that Facebook supposedly did the same. It's an incredible coincidence, but it makes the satire feel that much more real.

I love Jared's lines, they're never set up to be the big punchlines, but they always get big laughs out of me.

I don't really think it's fair to call this a "free album" given that it's exclusive (for now at least) release is tied to Apple Music, a paid service, or that Chance is an independent artist without label backing. Apple is not a music label in the traditional sense, but Chance still has a major corporate entity

I feel like Persona 4 could have done it easily, since it was about even with the number of male and female characters, and since the player character is so generic anyway.

I would love to see the demon interactions in P5. They're a really fun way of giving life to the world, since even the smallest, weakest enemies will have some personality of their own. If not, I guess there's always SMT4: Apocalypse.

I started playing Persona 3 but I definitely never got to that point. I should really pick it back up one of these days. It is really all about the social links, I was way more interested in those than any of the fighting sections.

Also, for anyone that spent time doing the part-time job at the hospital: did you get a really strong sexual vibe from the nurse? It felt pretty creepy to me at some parts, but maybe I misread it.

One thing that always bothered me about Persona 4 was the lack of repercussions for my actions. In particular, I spent most of the game working on a relationship with Yukiko, even spending Christmas with her. However, later in the game, I got curious about Rise and eventually she became my new girlfriend.

I'm very curious about that too. I've been wondering if the death and inevitable resurrection is GRRM's way of releasing Jon from his night's watch vows and letting him do something else for a change. But knowing Jon, not even death will let him break a promise he made.

I'd have to rewatch the whole series to be sure, but yeah, it just might be. Too many of the fight scenes on this show just end up being kind of boring, but Hardhome managed to feel tense and captivating the entire time.
