SDCC stopped being about comics even back in 2004. Movies, TV shows, games, toys and people going just to cosplay took over.

"and she has a particular affinity for turning people into werewolves. That probably won’t come into play on Luke Cage, but you never know." —— If BLADE is ever going to come to TV, you better believe it will. Start setting up the supernatural now! Well they kind of did with Ghost Rider…
I was fine with padding The Hobbit with other Tolkien book material that occurred on the same timeline in Middle Earth, but wasn't a huge fan of Peter Jackson getting more self-indulgent with wholly invented scenes. It's like he gave up giving a f*ck after being slavishly devoted to Tolkien for almost 20 years. But I…
Brilliant.
Plus most of the mutants are found out when they are kids and ostracized by their parents and/or society. It's not like "My kid's cool, he's going to be the next Captain America" when he turns out to have yellow skin and can breath fire.
Or Daredevil showing up in Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 (which would be the beesknees!)

Actually being old would be a benefit since the game first came out in 1986.
On the plus side, some of the real world locations/building/interiors remind me of 70's sci-fi (Planet of the Apes sequels, Logan's Run, etc.)
Thanks X-Men (2000).

I don't know what's going on with this, Marvel's supposed to be replacing The X-Men (which they don't have the rights to, FOX does) with The Inhumans as their surrogate for "mutants", but why are they damning them to prime-time television? Having super powers means needing a decent budget (and not just some After…
They were.
The Smash Mouth of Chefs.
Plus it's "The" Nine Inch Nails. There is a difference.
Not sure where you are at, but I'm in CA watching it as a SHOWTIME add-on ($8.99/month) to Hulu Plus ($7.99/month), streamed through my Blu-Ray player to TV.
Only a matter of time before he's directing a Marvel or Star Wars movie! Seriously though: David Lynch's Doctor Strange.
Bands do play secret shows at small venues, even on a weeknight.
I had a hard time picturing them fitting in with the rest of the rockabilly/alt-jazz/swirly girl bands that have played there, but they were perfect. Reminded me of the same "vibe" as The Pink Room band from FWWM although not sounding exactly the same.
