Maybe this one falls apart at the beginning. Most reviews did say that it started getting better in Episode 6.

All I know is, if the fight scenes don't surpass Daredevil we've got a serious problem. Especially for a character that is all about fighting. Still holding out hope in the fact that reviewers only got the first 6 episodes. Maybe it doesn't really get going until the 2nd half of the season.

I watched it on Hulu Plus, not a single commercial. That LA Times article is great. Good for Singh.

I'm guessing it's probably in a movie by a French filmmaker, archived in the Criterion Collection.

"History Channel doesn't make it. In fact, they censor and edit it down quite a bit, as the foreign version is more HBO like." which is why I've been collecting the series on blu-ray.

Plus the fact that this wasn't another Han Solo or Indiana Jones, both characters that Ford was riding high on at the time.

I was there too, mannnnn.

Also helps to have some levity for the audience in an otherwise bleak movie.

Clearly we need Kurt Russell in "In the Mountains of Madness"

why the fuck is Jim Belushi in this?

Anyone who hasn't watched Agents of SHIELD past the 1/2 way mark of SEASON 1 don't have a right to sh*t on it. It's all onwards and upwards once the Winter Soldier tie-in happens. I mean it's not Netflix level, but it gets the job done.Thank you.

Nothing worse on this Earth than white boy reggae. Especially sung by bros.

Hoping they can right the ship with her film. We'll see.

This is a perfect blending of King, Spielberg and Carpenter, but if those three actually got together today to do a film or movie I doubt it would be this good.

I was 7-17 in the 80's and a huge film geek since 4 years old (thanks mom) This was very much was a crack cocaine hit for me, too. So many nods and references, perfectly placed together.

Technically you are only suppose to comment about what happened on the episode being reviewed and what came before it, but some people just DGAF. Although DAREDEVIL Season 2 comment sections were pretty respectful. If people wanted to talk with full spoilers they did so on the very last episode's comment section.

She looked anorexic to me, too, especially the arms. My wife mentioned there was a scene or two where you could see she was losing her hair on top (a sign of anorexia I'm told). She brought it up before I said anything about it.

As an 80's child, this definitely did a better job than SUPER 8 in recreating the 80's movie look/feel.

I swear the shots of the 3-year old girl were referencing the TV show FULL HOUSE (Michelle Tanner's character)
