Agreed. A lot of the reviewer's negatives for this episode seem like your average clunkiness of the typical first episode of a second season i.e. tying up some plot from last season/setting up stuff for this season, etc. coupled with some nitpicking just to have something to talk about to compare with the good stuff.

"… And Justice for All" is a bit overrated, the production values suck, and don't get me started about the bass guitar mix. Still a classic album for the most part.

There are A LOT more chicks at Slayer or Iron Maiden or any other "real metal" concerts now then there were back in the 80's or even early 90's. And those that were there were with their boyfriend who would have to reciprocate by going to a Motley Crüe or Poison concert.

Great post. I was a 19 year old boy when The Black Album came out and not only did it make me retroactively buy and really dig their older stuff, it also got me into the metal genre overall. The Black Album may not sound like the old thrash-y Metallica, but if you put it in context of, say, a more Black Sabbath sound
