Hi, I'm pretty sure that the punishment for approaching a guard — even ATTACKING a guard — is not death

This… I just… What th… aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH

I have to say, I have always loved Myles' reviews of the show (he did create the "Ugh, Larry" feature, after all) but I wish the site still had time for roundtables/multiple pieces and perspectives about the developments at the end of this season in addition to the episodic reviews.

Maybe I'm reading into this too much, but in my knowledge a lot of women will wear hijab out in public, but take it off when at home, so I thought that scene was not only a sweet gesture from Alison but also a way to demonstrate that she's a part of their prison "family" now, too; that she felt comfortable enough

Don't the Targaryens keep the recessive silver hair trait alive because they have incest marriages?

Oh, sorry, I didn't get the chance to rewatch this episode — I remember it seemed somewhat ambiguous, there was probably a line of dialogue I missed!

Man, Lolly is possibly the most optimistic person on the show. She's certainly hard to be around sometimes because of her paranoia and distrust, but she consistently looks on the bright side, generally endears herself to everyone, and greenhouse-beaning aside, doesn't ever really seem potentially violent/dangerous.

I always wonder if it's easier or harder for the casting directors when the performer is someone that we're familiar with from when they were younger. I guess it doesn't really matter because they have a knack for casting just about everyone (baby Daya was SO CUTE I could almost understand why Aleida developed such a

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! Neri's vagina science experiments, haha.

It was also the same day that all of the older/formerly unionized guards walked out, so maybe they just assumed he wanted to leave as well.

Also, she could keep her business going by letting her brother and his wife take over; I think it was even mentioned in Season 3 that Neri had recruited some of her friends to wear underwear as well. If she really just cared about accumulating some cash, she had options.

Even more fun: way back in Season 3, Piper's brother (who is running the panty business) mentions Bayley's dog being dyed to look like a tiger. This shit has layers!!

It's pretty messed up! I mean, these reviews always feel like they move at a glacial pace over the 2 week release, but I appreciate that there's actually time to digest each episode.

I like the Donald Trump comparison because Piper is more than happy to get what she wants by manipulating racists and encouraging racist behavior, regardless of whether or not she believes. That's a whole different type of evil than really being a "Nazi," but it's no less evil, in my eyes.

I think (one part of) the point was that whether the products being hawked are good or bad, the attendees don't think of these booths as anything but fodder for swag bags.

As soon as the blond racist (the only non-skinhead; Nazi!Piper) was introduced, I called this getting pretty American History X-y. Every scene between their introduction and the actual meeting I was preemptively cringing

If you've ever been to the part of Pennsylvania where the Amish live this should not surprise you

It weirdly all seemed like it took place in one day, yet needed to be representative of a long period of time, which is generally a quality of the weaker flashbacks.

I'VE BEEN TRYING TO PLACE THIS WOMAN FOR THE PAST 9 EPISODES
