If the series was a little longer, I would have welcomed an Ito-focused episode. He may stealthily be the true villain of the entire case, from the way he needlessly went after Clark to his stupid, stupid decision to allow the entire trial to be broadcast on TV.

It's a cloth version of the plastic they put on your clothes at the dry cleaners

According to Clark's Vulture interview about her spotlight episode last week, they got into a very heated argument over it with very similar reasoning — Darden didn't want the defense to do the demo.

He's definitely drinking champagne, not ginger ale in every courtroom scene

Also way for him to miss just how much the power differential was weighed towards OJ in that relationship

"Courtney B. Vance returns, as…. Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr."

Ginger was 29?! ………………..ok

But she could be cut relatively early and then brought back with the "returning queen" save.

Another great episode! It makes so much sense to use Ru songs for the lip-sync-a-thon, and any queen who shows up not knowing the lyrics AND how to perform to all of those songs is a fool. I was disappointed that Bob got kind of a nothing role, since her club performances are BRILLIANT and her skills seem very

Her makeup isn't as flawless as Nina's, but I agree Acid is bringing it in terms of cohesive and well-executed overall looks that so far adhere to the theme.

Kennedy also referred to her disabled sister as "seriously retarded" or something like that, which came across pretty poorly. She completely crashed and burned when it came time to talk about herself.

That plus the smaller cast means I actually feel like I got to "know" everyone already, making it prime time for reality show fuckery to go down next episode. So far, much better planned/executed/edited than Season 7!

I feel like they have before — in order to set up Dida Ritz's performance in front of Natalie Cole. But yeah, they wouldn't possibly have included all of that patter for literally no reason; someone needed to kill it or they both needed to go.

Bianca, with some serious help from the edit, made bitchy comments that lined up with what the audience was seeing. So if her team looked a mess, she would say "my team looks a mess" and we'd all agree. And she'd say it with a perfect one-liner.

HAH

She didn't even have a bodysuit on under there! If you're wearing black control top panties, probably not appropriate stagewear

Yep. Also spotted a similar glance from one of the black female jurors after Marcia mutters "shit." Even though there were other women present in the episode, it did a fantastic job at indicating how poorly she was received by just about everyone, save her coworkers.

Cochran seemed to take attorney-client privilege very seriously while he was alive, and is I think the only member of the Dream Team who didn't later imply they thought OJ might be guilty (publicly, at least) and viciously called out the others, mainly Shapiro, for doing so.

I will say, even though that's probably the biggest fabrication to date on the show, at least they did fold it together with Bill Hodgman's real aghast reaction to the surprise witness additions, which did prompt Ito to say he'd never seen Hodgman so upset before.
