I find it entertaining to read the comments by everyone - at least most of us are in agreement that the show is huge let down! It really is just horrible across the board!

It truly is bad - the viewers can agree on that point across the board! :)

I remember reading somewhere, maybe on IMDB, that there would be no explanation of how the infection originated and that they wanted to show what it was like for the first responders. The show is just one huge comprehensive failure! :)

I have tried to make sense of the show since it started and gave up on it. It is appallingly bad on so many many levels.

I agree, don't get the hopes up. I was really looking forward to this show and it has overall been really bad. I can barely salvage this episode because at least there was a little action but the story line is all over the place and nothing ties it together. They have people react and do things that stretch the

I keep thinking "next week it will be better, hang in there" and it ends up being a let down. I want to feel the love for FTWD, but they make it soooo bloody difficult. I was trying to justify to a friend tonight why I am hanging in with this show when it occurred to me how desperate I sounded saying "well, at least

I remember Sandy - my office had no power for 8 days and my home was out for almost two weeks. Fortunately I had a generator. My home is a farm so it isn't in the best area for quick response and my road is also the line where the service switches from PSE&G to JCP&L.I am in Northern Burlington County.

That is a good point. The interruption of normal services due to riots and catastrophic events would play in to the normal routines. But the city of LA is in a Earthquake zone and the utilities and services especially in that area would have redundancy and additional disaster planning ready. Also, the one thing that

I read that last week - that was a good point - let's all riot but….hey guy's, why are we rioting? I expect the answer is that it was started because the police kept shooting innocents. Actually, I am trying to make sense of it and I can't.

That's what happens when you get bored off your ass and watch peoples comments scroll by during the show, you create stupid turns of phrase. Still, the problem seems to be a lax approach by the writers and I say lax because what is disappointing is that this is a show that is based on a successful series that is still

There are plans in place to cover priority facilities like power for big cities and suburbs - especially a place like LA. I have been involved in Emergency Management and in such a short time span it seems unlikely that it would drop that quick. Also, its funny you don't hear generators or anything like that. The

The father Travis looks like the porn star from the 80's / 90's Hershel Savage

Ok - why did they decide to start this episode 9 days from when the military arrived. It is supposed to be about how it came about and they just jump over how and why they are now penned in and they were not moved. They gloss over so many things including government involvement and help and the storyline (if there was

No one rushing to try and get tv on to see what is going on - something wrong here and I am having a hard time with this series and the way they are missing a lot of normal things that would happen. They need to realize that the media outlets would be all over the place. In episode 1 and 2 you saw a little media but
