On friday I watched Mechanic: Ressurrection (D+), which is probably the worst action film I've seen in theatres this year. Statham is fine, kind of, and Tommy Lee Jones makes the most of his limited screentime, but everything else is very bad. The CGI is terriblie, the story is basically non-existent and there isn't a

Would you say it's scarier than Green Room? I could handle that film fine and this looks intriguing, but I'm a huge wuss for jump scares and the like and this feels like it's quite heavy in that regard.

He means Pop Culture Weekend, the feature you're commenting on.

There's also a found footage movie about a guy who murders a bunch of people to get Anne Hathaway to star in his movie, or something to that effect. It just feels so wrong.

I like candy and chips/crisps equally. Does this mean I'm bisexual?

I love the crossed out Black People? in the Best Actor category.

Tagline: 'Sand is coarse and gets everywhere. Just like her.'

Was this the episode with the line "I think we should make our safe space for women also accesible for men"? Because, that line, along with the bit about a diverse panel of white men in bowties in episode 6, is one of my favorite "oh shit, Bojack's getting real" moments of the season,

I guess? I'm not hugely famillair with Def Leppard, but that sounds about right. They've got some good pop songs, but the lyrics and themes are always a bit icky.

There's a song it called Please Be Naked. And the title track is an endless ambient… thing. They're alright-ish live though.

He was.

Ah yes, making fun of people with a disabilty, that classic intellectual people move.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the episode didn't occur in real time, so if it makes you happy you can always imagine they did have a discussion about it, we just didn't see it. And we didn't have to, because the writers already got their point across very clearly by handling it the way they did.

Just reading that name made the 90s song pop into my head. "Generic 90s grunge song, something from Seattle."

I absolutely loved this episode, but saw a mixed reaction to it on other places, so I was worried I would be alone on that front. Glad to see I'm not, since in my opinion this is definitely one of the most biting pieces of satire I've ever seen. It's a toss-up between the diverse panel of white guys in bowties and the

It does.

Agreed. The art is great as always and Gillen is clearly having a lot of fun writing it, but it just feels a little slight.
