It's this one: http://cdn.collider.com/wp-… I personally quite like it, but it probably didn't win any awards or anything. I remember it being one euro or something, and buying it supported a charity of some kind, so it didn't seem like a bad deal and it does look nice on the wall.

Is Chappie really fresh in anyone's mind though? I'd basically forgotten it exists and I even have, for reasons unknown, a poster of it hanging on my wall.

"Hugh Jackman is absolutely wonderful in Pan" - some Warner Bros publicist, probably.

After reading his wikipedia article I now know that if you combine the first names of his sons you get the full name of the antagonist in the first Uncharted game. I'm not sure why I'd ever need to know this, but I'm sure glad I do.

My current favorite Monomyth is this Dutch space rock band.

If that's wrong, then I don't want to be right.

Agreed. I remember thinking something like 'that really can't be it, right?', then the credits started rolling.

I didn't really like it either, though I still have been thinking about it a lot since I saw it back in november, so that counts for something I suppose.

I watched it knowing nothing about the lore and enjoyed it. Though having a tolerance for slightly naff high fantasy definetly helps, the plot is a bit silly and generic.

Plus, the one thing it's done better than the Huntsman or Alice sequels is releasing only two years after the first one, instead of four or six.

I think they said that because the review it links to is pretty lukewarm. It avoids an awkward situation like when the Blackstar review said The Nex Day was middling and inconsistent (or something like that), while linking to an A- review. But yeah, I remember that album being showered with praise. I'm not really into

And they're not even sending their best!

I wish Fox would give Marvel the rights to Annilingus, so I can finally get the Annihilation movie my heart desires.

Ooh yes, I agree. I think it's a (near) masterpiece and it's absolutely the best thing I've seen this year (it was released here on January 1st), it's just that this video reminded me of the soundtrack. But yeah, I love the whole thing to bits.

This video is cool and all, but to me it mostly served as a reminder that Morricone's The Hateful Eight theme is the shit.

Monster Magnet - Negasonic Teenage Warhead

DFA1979 - You're A Woman, I'm A Machine

Modest Mouse - We've Got Everything
The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
The Black Keys - Weight of Love
El Vy - Need A Friend
Radiohead - The Gloaming

I've heard of season premiere dates, but that's ridiculous!

You said the words 'Book' and 'Morissey' and now I'm thinking of the sex scenes in that book he wrote.

We can put Kim on the 'Why are you famous exactly?' island and Kanye on the 'We like (most/some of) your music, but please shut up' island.

That's true, maybe lumping him in with those others isn't exactly fair. For what it's worth, I do like EODM better than anything Moz or the Gallaghers have been involved with, so he's got that going for him.
