Brilliant acting, writing and devastating results.. I'm so upset by the last few episodes. I wish for justice against these asshole guards somehow.

Does Piper have a group to sit with at lunch? Yes. She seems just as liked as anyone else. Look how Red treats her - that's important.
If there was no such scene, why make up that a blonde recruited people? You don't even know that. Doesn't address my question as to why no black, Latino or Asian people showed up.
Yeah, not a good enough reason for me.
I don't agree that no one likes Piper at all - except for the Latinas at this point I suppose (with good reason). When she first arrived, yes. Now she can talk to anyone.
I must have missed the scene where the blond inmate recruited people based on white supremacy, so thanks for that info. Does help to understand…
So you're saying anyone who works for a prison is corrupt or they leave? Shut it. I know an amazing woman who has worked at a prison for 15 years and she is a wonderful, hard-working person.
"The ponytail is an instant facelift" - helpful info!
"What if his name really IS Mark? ..Just keeding!"
She offered up the van - she was not harassed or pushed into smuggling goods.
It also bothered me that the meeting descended into chanting with like 2 sentences from Piper about caring about the community. And really, not ONE black or Latina or Asian inmate shows up to the meeting because they care about the community?? Only the white people?
Aren't the girls in the meeting chanting "All Lives Matter" the worst? Piper did this on accident… her horrified reaction proves this. I also loved the girl with the short hair's expression (sorry forgot her name) and that Morello also looked around with confusion.
She googled "Red" to find her prison mate named Red? On a previous episode's thread two commenters were going ON AND ON about how she was the only person for the job, Caputo was a complete asshole for underestimating her skills… come on. She calls it "U-S Weekly".
Although I loved her excited freak-out when she…
Adorable when she was helping Aleida with math and Poussey kept touching her - Soso's reaction :) "Quit distracting me" with that natural smile. Cute.
Totally disturbing that women not having access to tampons or pads could actually happen. Horrible. That's why Danny's outburst was so great - wish it was longer!!
Great writing. "I've had a beard since 10th grade. Actually two beards, this one and the one I took to prom." And Piper's fake smile faded - I think she was great in that scene.
Or let's make it simpler - if they're a male, they will turn the audience against them either from the get-go or eventually. Where has there been a male character in the show that's truly likable? Maybe some of the ex-guards, but they're written off now…
Why do people hate Bennett so much? With the exception of freaking out after visiting Carlos, what did he do? I miss the character and want him to come back.
I think she's been a fabulous actor with her material the entire time.
It definitely made me feel more sorry for the man - did he ever have a happy memory through any of childhood and adulthood? - he's obviously so desperate for companionship which makes him excited about women he's in contact with (Red, the therapy patient date, Judy, etc.).
The problem is, there's no growth NOW and…
For that reason it's so satisfying that she actually told him, face-to-face, what he did to her. Most women who are raped never get (or want?) that opportunity. The writing was so great - she wasn't confident or even prepared to tell him, but she did, and it's obvious how much growth her character has gone through.
That's why this show is so great… I HATED her first season. Could not stand her - I even secretly loved when Piper finally went ballistic and started socking her in the face. (Of course eventually felt bad that it kept going)
Another example: HATED Gabe on the Office; absolutely love him as Jared on Silicon Valley. …
Completely irrelevant. Oh but hey guys, my white mom kinda looks like Red.
