With all of the change in the recent years (John Oliver, Larry Wilmore, Jones, Jon Stewart, and even Colbert), I'm starting to wonder if the Daily Show has run its course as a whole.

I'm annoyed I didn't think to look hear before I started watching the series. It's my first foray into Star Trek aside from the most recent movies. I was somewhat familiar with TNG cause it was one when I grew up. Thank you so much for tearing the finale a new one like it deserved. It was cringe-worthy bad. Seriously.

I was thinking the same thing about lazy Libertarian portrayals. The FDA and USDA are as corrupt as any other government entity but they do provide useful services in some areas so I wish it was a little more specific.

I've not yet seen a Kurosawa movie but based on the way people talk about it him, it almost seems sacrilege to give it a B+.

Hmm… I'm embarrassed to say I never saw the original. I just saw the suit in pictures and assumed it was a cheesy Terminator-esque movie. I guess I'll have to give it a watch.

Personally, I want to chuckle but, at least with politics, it can cause literal harm to people through changing voting habits and such. I want to laugh, and I agree, sometimes I do, but it just has so much real impact that it infuriates me.

I'm one of those people that gets mad at such sources you listed. For one thing, its not fair to put Bill-O and NPR on the same level and the reason I'm mad isn't that they have opposing viewpoints, its the methods utilized to bolster such arguments (read: lying).

I don't think that the rigidity and story based games can't be funny. I think GLaDOS would agree with me.

The comment about the Poles being second only to Nazis in some instances is most accurate though. The pogroms all over Poland, while not as industrial and organized, were equally, if not more sinister because it was the people's direct neighbors doing the massacres.

Maybe it has to do with gender stereotypes then? Gay couples use it rather other though as well. I really have no idea, I'm just speculating.
