I don't believe he's as moderate as you're making him out to be, but you're right re personality.

"Man, my little brother can score on these guys."

Wonder how many actual stoners do venture out and go down the crack route?

This show has a noticeable leftist tilt; notice how Obama, far from a perfect President, gets way less parody and mocking than George W. did. And yes, both CICs were controversial in their own right.

Ariana was all right; she has some chops and did an acceptable job. Though I thought Beck's lines towards the blob fish/mermaid Kate McKinnon were the funniest in the whole show. Also glad to see Riblet take time off from Friendly's and compete for Che's WU "jorb."

This show is never at a loss for the unexpected; very well done focusing entirely on Phil's younger brother adjust to post-apocalyptic life on earth after his capsule crash. Although the Phil 2.0 flatlining will leave us hanging for another week, it was great to see this already weird show take another turn and

This warranted higher than a D+, Dennis. You mean to say that Ronda Rousey's episode, which barely elicited a laugh when she hosted, is worth a higher grade? This was at least a B- and Jonah indeed was a good sport. His flamboyant caterer using the graphic language was easily the best sketch of the night.

Glad to see Richie—or Just Falcon—return; wonder what Ken Marino's commitments were for the first few episodes this season? Also, Toby Huss nails Rex Hilliard. Seeing as how he used to be a Frank Sinatra impressionist, it only made sense for him to play another '50s role.

The Totinos one, especially. Credit to the writer(s) who pitched that; I love it when any show explores the realm of dark/surreal comedy.

That's his weekly shtick with the rotating musical guests. The band name is something to do with Jack Kerouac.

Looking forward to Lulu Diamonds next week.

He'll be given more time to shine over these next few months. Then again, featured players are usually out of the limelight in the first season or so. We'll see.

And then I look to next week…smh.

I'd take Foals out of any of those bands; not crazy about Chvrches. I'd rather see a metal act, to be honest—Sepultura or Fear Factory would be nice.

Sure, why not get The Strypes next? Irish, but point still stands.

They were all right; would you rather watch fucking Kanye West or Rihanna every other week?

Well put; merely replaying the gaffe seemed like the easy way out, although I understand the time constraints the cast and crew face.

I can't remember an SNL where I literally laughed out loud at every sketch. I knew we'd be in for a good episode after Larry's hilariously outdated Kevin Roberts. That was a real treat to watch and a nice turnaround from the Rousey debacle a few weeks ago.

Netflix had it oh so briefly last year; it was a real shame, because I didn't start watching this show until season 3.

No kidding. As soon as they did that SAG Awards spoof and she was on screen with Killam for a total of three seconds, I knew it was going to be THAT kind of episode.
