God, is there? Might affect my future reactions to soup…

You're absolutely right, and I support those people too. I don't see why a shareholder who bought DC stock in the 70s and did nothing else keeps cashing in Batman money while for instance Neal Adams, who kept the character alive for years and contributed to its value does not.
Perhaps I'll be reminded that that's how

True, without DC keeping Batman alive there wouldn't be a Dark Knight Returns. I'm not completely naive, I believe in compromise, which I feel is what corporations are utterly unable to do, probably because it undermines their position when they go to (legal) war.

Well, he's got his opinion, you've got yours. No need to get high horses involved.
And actually you just reminded me that Kirby and Simon were Jewish, which in my opinion does make the whole Nazi Captain America quite weird and in very bad taste. We're not talking about a Garfield strip where Garfield suddenly decides

Well, I on the other hand find the absolute control of popular stories by giant corporations at the utter expense of the original creators just one more evil of the economic system we all live in, and that is making a mess out of our planet.

That's more representative of the whole of his career, since he's been doing if for the last forty years at least. And when he was very young he went to the Roger Corman "film school", where everything was played really broad and on the run, so…

He does a bit, yeah. I doubt he'd have been able to pull it off, though. The scene in Bugsy when he supposedly "unleashes" the beast inside the gangster and makes the Annette Bening character all horny I found utterly ridiculous….

I think it might be the opposite, that he's really great in mode bombastic, and because he was thrown Oscars for that kind of work, at some point in his career he began taking all those parts, and no director has been able to rein him in, with the possible exception of Alexander Payne… Back when he was younger he used

Considering the plunge of UA stock value following this single instance of resistance, I'd say it is far from being pointless or futile.

Imo only truly sincere apology would go something like "sorry you caught us on video being such scumbags. We'll try to be less of that in case you catch us again. Or we'll invest on some electronic jamming device that will make it impossible for you to tape us again, in which case it'll be your word against us.

I saw it with all the songs subtitled. I didn't need them to get the story. In fact I often found the lyrics redundant. The storytelling was perfectly clear to me, and I loved it.
As for liking them, I love pop, I just don't like the kind of pop they often include in anime films. which often feels to me as soulless,

I agree, I think the narrative is very well constructed and the freaky friday stuff is fun and also a distraction from what really is going on. I disagree with the reviewer who seems to feel the love story is unearned. The body swaps end up creating such an intimacy between both characters that the moment they

Vince Gilligan is the bloody best. His podcasts only are more fun than a whole season of many shows…

I stayed away from comments and articles while binge watching it yet pretty much guessed how it would end. Not well.

So true. Claudia Schiffer had so much personality she made the Berlin Wall collapse…

Putin is Voldemort. He's always trying to give little Donnie a shirtless hug…

Of course! The rationale is, there is no way on earth they could multitask…
