I genuinely liked Scott Pilgrim when i finally saw it (not to mention I appreciated the fact that the story didn't hide or change the fact that it took place in Toronto), but I've never really had a desire to see it again.
I second this opinion.
"Gentlemen, we can rebuild it, we have the technology…smaller, lighter."
Ohhhh Glavin!
Spiderman will sing "Pinot Noir" in the next film.
*Struts down the street while doing the double guns point at random passersby before going home to eat cookies and milk while on the phone*
And Snape killed him.
I want you to give me more fashion and less hoochie!
Captain Stacy dies on the way back to his home planet.
Yeah, Garfield and Stone's sweet relationship was hands down the best part of otherwise mediocre movies. Webb should just make a nice, low-key romcom with the two of them; keep the good bits and cut the fat so to speak.
It's her first day on America's Next Top Model and Tyra just threw her in front a wind machine and told here to start modeling, which explains the deer in headlights expression.
The Canadian version of Masterchef is pretty great too at avoiding most of the drama bullshit that you see in the American version.
His interactions with his kids on his shows are really cute.
Anthony Bourdain pretty much says all the time that he was nothing more then a mediocre chef/writer who just happened to be lucky enough to hit the proverbial jackpot, allowing him travel and eat for a living.
It called Gordon Ramsey's Ultimate Cookery Course and there are quite a few full length episodes on YouTube.
His recent series where he's focusing on teaching cooking and kitchen fundamentals is a great showcase for that side of his personality (not to mention that you really do learn some good stuff).
Yeah, the first couple of series of British Kitchen Nightmares are great. You really get the feeling that he would do anything to try and help these people succeed, and that he's genuinely angry and frustrated when they're lazy or not trying.
Lucky you (not to mention that Mr. Blanc sounds like a real gentlemen.)
The Great British Bake Off is such a wonderful show. Not to mention that it's taught me so much about all sorts of classical British and European baking that we don't often see in North America.
