I wasn't overly keen on the last series (it was pretty much all the show's worse traits dialed up to 11) so I really hope the change of scenery will mean a return to the brisk, fun spirit of the earlier episodes. Plus, seeing all these guys in handsome period clothes is a huge bonus.

I think it was a similar situation to The Master where they where they grew up together (though since Doctor Who, especially the older series, plays pretty fast and loose with continuity don't quote me on that).
