"Why Kate, you're not wearin' a bustle. How lewd."

She's not bad in that movie, despite having a pretty archetypal victim role.

I've always liked that Men in Tights is pretty much an equal send-up of Prince of Thieves and The Adventures of Robin Hood.

Wyatt Earp himself couldn't have prevented Kilmer from stealing that movie.

"Why JOHNNY TYLER! Where you goin' with that shotgun?"

That's not what he said ya' ignorant wretch. Your Spanish is worse than your English.

Day-Lewis and Postlethwaite are both excellent in it but it's not that great of movie.

"Stealing, stealing, stealing a car for Moe, ladadidadada insurance fraud today…"

You write faster than I do!

Okay. So this shit happens every year:

They did have Nixon for a client.

Really? Woke is the first thing I look for in a horror movie. Atmospheric, suspenseful, unnerving; those are nice bonuses, but is it woke?

Oldboy, Kung Fu Hustle, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Constant Gardner, The Proposition…

Hacksaw Ridge is okay if you can get past Gibson's horribleness. I don't think it's as good as Apocalypto, which is his best movie.

Half Nelson or Blue Valentine.

It also has a fun early-period John C. Reilly performance.

You left out Stanley Tucci! Never leave out Tucci!

"'It's fictional,' he shrugs."

I love that Kramer's taste is sophisticated enough to peg Vincent as an "art house goon" but low-brow enough that he'd rather watch Weekend at Bernie's.

It would be fun to see Cameron direct another R-rated Terminator movie, but a glorified exec producer credit doesn't engender a ton of faith.
