Another strong episode (for Supergirl anyway) except for the awful scene where the public 'forgave' Supergirl. Maybe it would have been good if they had actors who could act playing the members of the public, but it fell flat. And Mehcad Brooks continues to be a personality vacuum as Jimmy Olsen. The chemistry between

You thought he had two dimensions?! That's one more than I saw.

I enjoyed this. It feels like it's getting better as it goes on, but I still feel like Lucy, Jimmy and Winn are miscast. They don't have any personality or chemistry whatsoever. I was hoping that the DEO would be done with by the end of the episode and Supergirl would start operating on her own with the help of Alex

I'm not saying all of the writers are all bad, all the time. What I mean is that the team consists of a handful of strong writers surrounded by inconsistent writers like Angela Kang and Matthew Negrete – though maybe their problems stem from weak concepts for their episodes. It could be that Matthew would have done

Dwight got penalized.

Those things never make sense in The Walking Dead. If I were Dwight or even Paula last week, as soon as someone starts biting me, I'm going to punch and kick until they stop.

This was a mess. TWD's largely weak writing team loops back to the same points again and again and makes the same sort of conclusions again and again: 1. You're either the butcher or the cattle. 2. Killing people takes its toll on you. 3. I'm going to stop killing people now. 4. I'm going to kill people again because

This episode is exactly why The Walking Dead should not have 20 or 22 episodes in a season. It struggles to fill 16.

I love Carol as a character. I'm not sure I could continue on with the show if she was killed off because there are some characters who really do need to be killed off before they lose someone like Carol. Melissa McBride is terrific.

*spills soup*

It's the swearing, Amusement Shark. It has no nobility. At Alexandria, do I tell Mrs. Monroe, "Oh, here's one big bastard of a check, give me some of your CHRIST-ING BEET AND ACORN COOKIES?"

This episode was awful. The guy who plays Adam is Melissa Benoist's boyfriend and it seems as though that's the only reason he was cast. He has no charisma or chemistry with any of the cast and he's another example of poor casting on this show.

Dean Strang (forgive me if I've butchered the spelling) has actually debunked these points quite successfully. Whatever your feelings about Avery's innocence or guilt, I think it's clear that the trial was a sham and that he and his nephew deserve a retrial. If they are innocent and the real killer/killers are still

This was disappointingly bad and showed that, ultimately, Supergirl's writers have no backbone or willingness to do something different.

It wasn't perfect – mainly because of Winn, Maxwell and James – but this was the strongest episode they've done so far. Maxwell is a garbled rehash of Lex Luthor from Lois & Clark without any of the charisma. He's following most of the same beats as John Shea and a lot of the dialogue is similar, too. The actor

Your sass is magnificent, good sir.

They need to fire 50-70% of the writing staff and trim the number of episodes per season. I thought this season's first four episodes were strong, but the last four have been mediocre. Carol was right to want to kill the Wolf, but Matthew Negrete was an idiot for picking that moment. She wouldn't have jeopardised

Maybe it will turn out that another goat killed himself in front of Tabitha, landed on her, and then the zombie ate that goat while Tabitha snuck away covered in guts. *wishful thinking*

I think this season has been strong so far. Sure, tonight's episode was a bit of a downer, but it's nowhere near the abiding awfulness of FTWD.

By season seven, Carl will look like Cousin Itt from the Addams Family.
