Even if they planned in advance, they doesnt change anything for Ward. Ward as a character on the show has been doing his own thing. He doesnt have to be a character from the comics just because he wasnt adapted to the SHIELD comic. That's a rule (or prediction I guess) that you are presenting. It doesnt make sense

And then you are creating a different storyline at this point. Zombie Ward is the biggest evil ever. An entire organization was created and endured for god knows how long to bring it back..

Looking at what they have done with him recently. They killed him in Dark Reign. They brought him back in Chaos War. And then kill him. Then they bring him back in Uncanny Avengers. Then Rogue kills him. Then they bring him back as the Horsman of Death. And then they just killed him again in the new Vision series.

I think it would have worked had they got a season 6 and Illyria eventually got split up by Willow or something. But losing Fred sort of made the show hollow. It left a hole in the show's world. I'm glad she's back in the comics though.

I wasnt referring to anything you said.I'm saying the premise of Zombie Coulson would be to kill him, as to what's been presented on the show. They want to kill evil Hydra alien monster at all costs. It takes over the host's body with no hope of bringing them back. It's different than Illyria because its a villain

Skye is a fake name that she gave herself. They say it in the pilot I believe. I dont think they had planned in advance but it didnt contradict previously given info. Grant Ward is written on his birth cerificate, on his SHIELD ID, he had a senator brother named Chrstian Ward. They've told you several times he's Ward.

Literally the only thing the Grim Reaper is good for is dying. That's all they've done with him in the comics. They have brought him back literally to kill him again.

    Watergun to defeat fire types.

Angelus wasnt a twist; we were told he becomes it at the beginning of the series. And he became it in another series before Angel. The premise of Angelus is to get Angel back. The premise a Zombie Coulson would be to kill him. There's no return.

His name isnt Grant Eric Ward Williams. He's clearly designed as his own character. No need to attach another character's legacy to him. He's works as solely a creation of the show. The only people who'd want that are ones looking for twists. When they told you his name was Grant Ward at the beginning of the series,

I think everyone had plenty of reason to hate Ward. I think the idea is Coulson really wanted Ward dead. Hunter, Bobbi, and May tried, but they failed. And then someone else died that was close to Coulson, so he took it up himself. It works for me.

Fitz tells Ward his younger brother wants to see him. Ward runs out, only to find a sign labeled traitor. And then the stabbing.

The point of Lash I think is that now Simmons is responsible for all those deaths. It most certainly wasnt meant to be resolved this episode.

    Sword arm for swashbuckling.

    Harpoon hand for underwater missions.

Coulson becoming the bad guy would be terrible. Not only would it make it really easy for him to kill all of SHIELD, but the entire show is built around him. That would be a twist for the sake of having a twist.

Joey is going to be totally OP. Bullets dont even work on him!

But now that he's feud with Ward is over, it seems he can breath for the first time.

I'm personally hoping for a Mega Man impression.

The moment I loved most from this episode, although Ward's death was awesome and satisfying, was when Daisy decided to stay with Mac because he was her partner. It's a relationship that has really only been built this season, but it works so well and feels like a real partnership.
