I'm finding that reviewers of these PC episodes are adding their own perspective rather than trying to see the episode for what this is.
Again, I was alluding to the fact that like the rest of the town in South Park, I was overcome with glee because the beauty of having this type of story in this day and age. I was saying that was the PC person in me, and so I understand a bit what the town did.
I have never laughed throughout the entire episode of a show like I did with this one. Just the brilliantly layered satire really struck a chord with me.

I get a sense from the stories of Krypton that the planet is arrogant because of their advanced technology. Thus they never saw the need to leave the planet, despite having the technology. That includes space colonies.
It varies upon the interpretation, but usually the planet doesnt believe Jor El's warnings and would rather continue there destructive ways as opposed to accept the truth. Sound familiar?
