I wasn't making a statement of it as a trope. Just making a joke. It's a little convenient that everyone just isnt celebrating with their families. Not just them but all of their dates.

It looks like they want to elongate the season with some smashing of atoms and amazing stuff, but the teasing may have done too much damage, as how much fire can come from a firestorm.
I like the tension of the episode, but it messed up the ending I think. Barry too quickly forgets the death of his childhood bully. Harrison Wells seems delightful evil which is awesome. It looks like Barry and Caitlin are getting closer, which will be fun once Ronnie gets back.
Grant Emerson is Damage.
I'm guessing it's probably going to be different than that, but it's not just the JSA, but other meta humans and aliens.
I really enjoyed this episode. Definitely the best since the pilot.
This is a great episode. For some reason, I hope Nick and Tran's granddaughter work out, so Nick and Tran can be bros forever.
I think it works with the deconstructionist approach he has, because that honesty proves he's not playing a character.
yeah! how dare they spend time with their family!
its a joke.
I just want to point out proof that Jake is a jerk: he didn't even put in any money, yet he's the one that gives the envelope.
Being on Netflix is so much than being on NBC. Or any network for that matter. It's so hard to launch a new show on the networks.
Peter definitely fits in better than Jeremy, so his leaving is unfortunate. I hope this development deal gives him his Happy Ending.
I think Dr. Mann's craziness was earned in the film, while Casey Affleck's wasnt. Also Casey Affleck's craziness was unnecessary distraction.
I love her new album. It feels like a progression of her as artist and its really fun to dance to. Especially since when people can tell you like it, it sort of motivates you to keep listening in a weird way.
Or the biggest mystery. Why was Casey Affleck so crazy?
Name doesnt matter. Still looking forward to it!
For measuring distances and stuff. Or drawing straight lines. Those shelves looked awfully straight. I think with a shelf you are least need a tape measure, which is basically a ruler.
The Captain does have quite terrifying eyes. I am glad he is doing something other than terrorizing Ted Mosby, although he should have done a bit more of that.
I loved the ending bit, but not really feeling Iris as a character right now. However, I do like Caitlin's concern for Barry. Do I sense another love triangle coming soon? Barry, Caitlin, and burning man?
