That's not about the mythology the show incorporates. That's the writing of the show itself. It doesn't make sense to go into what he believes SHIELD is in every review.

Sava expresses from my understanding a very singular understanding of what SHIELD is, rather than universally recognized multifaceted organization it is.
I feel like posting a video about kids murdering each other violates You Tube's rules.
There have been many different comics with SHIELD. The point is, SHIELD isn't all rocket powered motorcycles. SHIELD has been used to tell many different type of stories, just like this show is doing.
The worst part is he got a sequel series called Avengers Undercover.
I completely agree. This seems to be what AV Club is doing for reviews of this show. Worst part is that they have this lofty concept about what SHIELD is that doesn't match up with any who has picked up a comic with SHIELD in it.
May, Ward, and Coulson are exactly like the SHIELD agents you usually see in the comics. The other members are support, so the react like you think.
I like what they are doing with SHIELD currently, but I totally agree that more shows like Chuck would be great!
Again, the review suffers from incorrect expectations. As someone who has actually a read a few SHIELD comics (Hickman's SHIELD, Strange Tales, Nick Fury stuff, Secret Warriors, etc), I don't have a problem with the series' direction. Supernatural stuff is right in SHIELD's ball park, given that the regular Marvel…
If it was called Ironic but not ironic at all, I think that would actually make it ironic.
Sorry. Too busy rewatching to check for spelling errors.
I've been rewatching Angel and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Nope. Wrong. Nintendo has always been about gameplay innovation rather than IP creation. SM64 set a blueprint which most 3D games (and all platformers) followed. But the Mario games have always been about just having fun. Since Galaxy, the Mario franchise hasn't slacked off in the creativity of its entry.
The world’s only Japanese-born Italian celebrity the world’s only Japanese-born Italian celebrity?
How you could forget about the Eternal Understudy named Luigi. It's the year of Luigi, you know.
Unfortunately, this was only matter of time when it comes to Alec Baldwin.
I've already committed so I can't stop,
Even though my original rhyme I will never top.
What is a useless tangent I ask?
Because to claim that HIMYM's last season is full of them seems to be your task.
What is the meaningful story that you seek?
Because there is meaning in this episode, like there is every week.
A father…
Although 30 Rock's final season was undeniably great,
The core of the show was in Liz as a showrunner, and not every final episode did relate.
They did not jettison Hazel one bit, not at all,
Her character never worked, as much as I love Kristen Schaal.
So let's not pretend 30 Rock covered all its bases.
A comparison to…
I loved the episode even though it did not "matter."
My expectations it did shatter.
There was a nice callback and use to the "night, night little marvin" theme,
As the transition between the bedtime stories, so kudos to the writing team.
I think the reviewer got the score exactly right,
As I shared the same thoughts when…
No, but that doesn't matter when the episode is this good, when it's all said and done
The best episodes in HIMYM are when they are just a whole lot of fun.
Furthermore, that doesn't make sense.
Why should I hold episodes in the final season to have more finale significence?
Especially on a show like this.
There's no…
Thoughts: The first few minutes of the show were unacceptable. Family Guy's writers have to realize that their stereotype schtick won't work forever. I would have normally just turned it off, but knowing the importance of this episode, I knew I had to keep tuning in.
