as shaky as the first season of the clone wars was, the Malevolence story arc that pretty much kicked it off was worlds better than anything seen here.

I know this is a small….very small thing but I wish on animated shows like this, the characters would change costmes. It comes off like GIjoe when they last the entire series wearing the same thing for every activity in life

This always felt like it was supposed to be a concept album, but they chickened out halfway through and it ended up a bit safe. The end result is a bit muddled. That being said, there was some seriously untapped potential here.

Of course the biggest plothole of the entire series is the the tomb of Athena uses the constellation as seen from our planet to point the gang to earth 1

For an interesting story with similar plotting/themes, I highly recommend the 1982 anime series, "macross". There's a lot to be said about the comparison. Especially when they diverge in the final act of the story
