Couple things here.

I'm with you. At no point has archer ever condoned his mothers morally bankrupt schemes

I've never considered anything but the 6 films to be canon

Once the rape happened, I really began to loath this season and this episode was the low point. For me, this was when downton abbey officially "fed the pigs"

I realize that La Boheme is probably the most accessible opera there is, but that might also make it the greatest.

The other great thing about r.e.m. is their arrangements. If their song writing not be that adventurous, their arrangemts are always well crafted, they serve the song, and identifiable.

The other thing I love about this band is their deadpan sense of humour. You just have to hear their besides and covers to realize how sincerely they took their tongue in cheek approach.

It's funny, I've always felt that this is one of those songs that proves r.e.m.'s awesomeness. It's like their "yellow submarine". One of those songs in their history that's more of a brave, creative moment, than just another r.e.m. song. Peter buck once said that sometimes, they try to pretend they're some other,

Peter buck did a great solo on REM's "drive". The tone may have dated itself but the solo is darn near perfect

How great is it that you guys are reviewing this? 3 days ago I decided to dip my foot into doctor who and I started with "rose". I'm so excited to take this show for a ride. It might even top my stargate fascination
