Is this the only mention of Arseface in these comments? I, too, love Arseface and am shocked there isn't more hilarity addressing his lovable, ugly self.

I re-read the series every few years and each pass makes me love Salvation, the Odin Quincannon arc, more and more. It might be the best standalone story Ennis has done outside of a few war tales. I may be wrong, but 'easily' is an exaggeration for sure.

*crickets chirping*

Nice read, I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to read some Preacher critique from an old fan

Upvote for 'Dr Strange'

R'as Al Ghul should be in that discussion, no?

Nick was instructed by Strand to go meet his connection, it was planned before the episode started, and IMHO to great effect.

You were fine, and their retorts were trite and predictable. Overall I think it went pretty well for you :p

Me too, old man Batman fan since the early seventies, seen many interpretations of the mythos, and Gotham is a lot of fun for what it is.

LOL did you have this one saved up?

That's how I interpreted it as well, there was definitely the start of an answer, then a pause, the wheels turning in her head, then a different answer.

Damn, great post

Nicely worded

Don't care if acting and writing is bad with Selina, it''s like enjoying some amateur fanfiction, I don't need it to be good when the characters are people I feel I've known for decades. I watch Fargo and BCS when I want great acting and writing, I watch Flash to see Earth-2 camp and Gotham when I want Selina camp.

Why should he care if his opinion is in the minority? I love AVCLUB and come after most all the shows I watch, cos I like and agree with Jordo, ponder Riddler's weekly riddle, and quake in fear as the Anti-Monitor prepares to eat all of our reality.I also find the reviews 'tonally' inappropriate, it's like they are

You realize that the AVclub's top priority in a review and forum is to get as many posts and reads as possible, yes? Now count how much of the discussion here is about Oliver's approach - sounds like some good job security to me. If, and it's not going to happen, but IF everyone ignored those comments and didn't let

He posts his opinion on a public forum and insults the only person who took time to reply, always surprises me

I don't think he was saying he thinks Kevin is dead, he was saying if it hadn't been renewed, it would be an acceptable bookend as an interpretation.

I watched Sopranos first run as they aired and absolutely adored it, was amazing TV for the time. Sadly, when I catch an episode here or there nowadays, it is clear that TV got much better since the Sopranos helped improve it as a medium and business model, this having the unintended side effect of diluting how truly

Gandalf, I just binged all this, and for the naysayers Beema was entertaining and your comments did generally suck. I wouldn't bother to point this out except I recently read your comments on Kevin's suicide attempts and you confused a simple basic timeline about Kevin's cinderblock anchor and his waking up from the
