Why is abusive being thrown around like Danny's yelling that Mindy is useless and worthless? All he's doing is sticking to his agenda/ image of happy family with his wife being home….that's not abusive just a$$hole behavior.

What you see are people telling Mindy that what she wants matter. Because it does. She compromising her heart away while Danny try to redo his childhood with his son.
