Yeah, she must despise him. Guess that's why she chose him to create, produce and run her Fox series. She couldn't keep far enough away from that wretched enabler.

It never went away, in our hearts.
Like residents on a Hellmouth of some kind…
You mean rightfully mad at the allegations because you don't actually know what happened, right?
Once again, no desire on th AV Club's part to point out these are thus-far unproven allegations.
The "problems" are all typical work crap, which has nothing to do with his standing as a feminist. Let him apologize for not always being a wonderful person to work for when any other tv producer does.
I don't see what he should apologize for. Not being a woman? His writing not being everything to ever woman? Does the fact that any given woman does not relate to/see herself in his work make it false or flawed?
Anything about his sexuality?
But won't any man have a "weird relationship with" feminism, much like any white person will have a "weird relationship with" racial issues, or any straight person have a "weird relationship with" gay rights or any cis-gendered person have a "weird relationship with" trans issues.
I mean, what's terrible about OJ is less that he said that—it's a dick thing to say, I grant you—and more that he slaughtered her and Ron Goldman.
Ugh, I've gotten a little overwrought. I should chill.
I hope.
I'm sorry. I know it's kinda irrelevant for me to say that, but I'm sorry you experienced that.
It's also odd to call what happened on the show "sex without consent" when everyone who joins as an employee signs a contract giving consent.
Ironically, I get the feeling all these "purists" were the ones who rabidly defended Hillary Clinton and attacked those of us who supported Sanders as being on a "purity" kick.
I like this post, but has he really claimed to be a feminist hero, just because he states he's a feminist? People definitely write hero-worshiping things about him.
I respect that, but we don't know that he's a predator using language to that end. It's like when people slip and say "you people" and its taken for a racist statement, or say "I have a friend," and it's taken as "Some as my best friends are ___"
lol all these years people have claimed SWJ was just a conservative smear. What next, you genuinely support Political Correctness?
Huge difference between covering a story and having a lead article perform character assassination based on gossip.
When people say "the AV Club," I think it's understood by just about everyone to mean the publication. I definitely get more out of the comments-section (your comments included) than from the published articles, but to say the AV Club shows nuance in its work because of the comments threads is kinda specious.
