I know I shouldn't judge a movie I haven't seen. And maybe when I see it, I'll kick myself for these comments.

"They won't stay apes!"

I hear it to the music for "Aquarius."

No, he's amazingly gifted. The lyrics for his shows sometimes disguise the quality of the music. Listen to the opening song from Annie, "Maybe." Melodically, it's ingenious. The Strouse-Adams score for It's a Bird…It's a Plane…It's Superman! is gem, one of Stephen Sondheim's favorite shows of the era.

Ghost Story: Based on the Novel Poltergeist by Spector.

Look at the movies that top the box office charts. It isn't that hard to figure out. Male led, male audience-oriented movies make the most money (alliteration not intended, but enjoy). So men generally get paid more.

"I'm going to run away once I think I've made a clever point!"

And your head placed within it, yes.

Not sure why I can't, there's no law against it. There is no "baseline salary" for leading players. Some get more some get less, and its all based on box office. Since mostly male driven movies (action movies, superhero movies and raunchy comedies) are what score at the box office, it isn't surprising you'll find

Hey, we agree on something!

But it's also worth pointing out how extreme all this has gotten. Women being told they needed abortions for health reasons seems to have been a simple part of medical practice pre-Roe v Wade. Once abortion became an issue about a woman's choice rather than a doctor's recommendation, an issue of reproductive autonomy

Does it have to be about being "heroically brave"? Could it not just be a realistic look at a conservative mentality from the inside? For the sake of, you know, understanding?

It doesn't help that a fellow liberal writing the story means—on the basis of how the review makes it appear—we're getting a fairly generic Archie Bunker caricature, no matter how well-intended. If you really want to understand a conservative, you may need a conservative's explanation of themselves, even in fiction.

"Incredibly naive," lol.

I don't think that producers making errors in who they think has the most box office worth means they aren't paying those people on the basis perceived box office worth.

You know about as much about me as you do punk rock. Somehow despite that, you're confident of your opinions on both. What a narcissist you are!

If you got 'em.

Ah, Wall Street and Silicon Valley. That's hugely representative of the salaries men make in the United States.

Uh, that demonstrates there isn't the same box office demand for them. Which is why they aren't paid as much. Which is what I said in the first place.

I don't have any of your posts taped to my mirror…
