What made the original Ghostbusters so great and successful is indefinable. It's actually pretty arrogant, cynical and/or desperate to say "Hey, let's make the same movie, only this time with female leads, and, voilà, another beloved classic!"

So, in other words, it's a pretty good representation of what this movie is probably gonna be.

No, not 'demanding' it at all. I find it kind of funny, actually.

So Elektra, who's Greek, was played in the movies by an Anglo-Saxon West Virginian, and will now be played on TV by a French-Cambodian. Oh well, Daredevil is blind, so I guess they don't expect him to be able to tell the difference.

Yeah, Han was definitely Ford's breakthrough role, and he never looked back after doing it. It definitely brought out/allowed him to show the masculine, dangerous and tough but charming and mischievous persona that has become his signature. It's just hard for me to imagine any of today's actors being able to

Yeah, quite possibly. No offense to Chris, but he's no Harrison Ford.

It's really Harrison Ford, in my opinion, that made Han the beloved character that he is. This origin movie will be interesting, for sure, but I think it's pretty much impossible for anyone to replace the distinctive roguish charm that Ford brought to that role.

Well, then he's totally lost his mind.

He'll probably say that he was only talking about Mexicans, not other Latino groups, and try to sue her for suggesting otherwise. He's seems to always sue people who do or say anything hostile towards him. He should just change his name to Sue. He certainly acts like he was named Sue - by Mexicans.

America the Beautiful

Is it too early to call Hillary Clinton "Madam President-elect" yet?

What does getting "a disappointing lap dance" from Amy Schumer even mean? What exactly makes it "disappointing"? I'm confused. Is there, like, a video somewhere showing what Amy Schumer giving a disappointing lap dance actually looks like? You know, just for clarification purposes?

It looks like they have models modeling superhero costumes on the cover, not the stars/characters of an actual superhero movie.

Have to say I agree with Stan. It actually looks kind of lazy and patronizing to go to women and minorities and say "Look, we'll turn one of our well-known, well-established characters into one of you! See how progressive and generous we are!", instead of actually working on creating and developing great original

Yes, but he was leaving at that time to do his own show, and Jon had yet to announce that he was retiring. And he, like so many of Jon's potential replacements, simply had no interest in taking Jon's place. If the opportunity for him to host the show ever comes again, it hopefully would, and probably could, be a

I'm VERY disappointed that John Oliver isn't taking over the Daily Show. With him as Jon's replacement, the show would've become better than ever. If Trevor Noah somehow doesn't work out, John HAS to take over. Comedy Central should not take no for an answer.

"Maybe they could just pretend it's one of Batman's gadgets on his utility belt…
The Bat Peen?"

Much better actor than Affleck, and only 17 months older. Hollywood studios are dumb.

The Bat Hamm-ock?

Why not Hamm?
