Some old Neck Deep and their newer singles. September 17th can't come soon enough. Wishful Thinking isn't that great, but their second album is amazing. I like bands that I feel really understand the stress I am going through currently, and they do. Gold Steps is kind of my life story at the moment. It doesn't hurt

I've always been tempted to try shrooms or acid, but the chance of getting HPPD scares me too much.

While I tend to agree with the message to some extent (seriously, opening yourself up to challenging ideas and differing points of view should never be a bad thing) this guy seems like kind of a douchebag.

As far as new music goes I've been listening to every single that has been so far released from The Nashville Sound. Isbell is just in another league as far as Americana/Alt Country goes. This record is going to be epic and I'm getting tickets to see him for a third time. If you ever get the chance, go.He is such a

I''m kind of late to this one, but Marquee Moon if I'm feeling pretentious. Ball and Biscuit if i'm not.

I mostly agree. There are a couple of great songs, but a lot them just end up blending together. The lyrics are all top notch, but that pretty much goes without saying as in my opinion Darnielle is one of the top three greatest lyricists of all time. The whole concept of no guitars was a mistake I think though.

This was a pleasant surprise. Granted, One Direction were always a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. Still, I wasn't expecting much, but I am glad I was wrong.
Nothing on this album is at all original, but it is all done extremely well. A little slow in places, but it didn't put me to sleep like all of Zayn's stuff.

In the end, it comes down to whether or not you can separate an artist from their art. Just like it was with the recent controversy over Casey Affleck.
This band means quite a lot to me and I will continue to enjoy their music. I'm glad I pirated their records though.

Green Room. What the skins do to that guy's arm.

I found a leak a week or so ago. This is a hell of a good album.
It is by far the least Gorillaz sounding thing they have done though.
Best song is probably Ascension. Vince went HAM, my god.
Very political even though Albarn edited out any mention of Trump's name
The copy I got was only twenty songs so I have not checked

Well, don't shoot the message I guess.
I agree with most of their politics, but I pretty much hate everything that site represents.
It is the epitome of rich, white, liberals jerking each other off in an echo chamber.

Overall, I liked it. The first half is much better then the second.
Not as good as either Islands or Stakes, but still enjoyable.

No mention of Americana by Ray Davies?

Looks good. It might get loud was a very good movie, so I have high hopes for this.
How about a new album as well, please. Either solo or with The Raconteurs, I don't care.
White is kind of an asshole, but he makes some goddamn great music.

Like I said on a previous post, I thought this album was boring as hell and a massive disappointment.
To be fair, I thought the same of TPAB on first listen. Maybe it will eventually grow on me.

Easily his worst album in my opinion.
It reminded me a lot of the latest Frank Ocean record and that is not a compliment.
My god was this album, with the exception of Humble, flat out boring as hell.

Zopilote Machine should be on here (despite John's distaste for it, Going to Georgia might be his best song)
I'd put Sunset Tree a little higher, and Transcendental Youth a little lower.
Good list though.

Great song, but that goes without saying.
The Mountain Goats are probably my favorite band of all time.
They really got me through some hard times when things weren't going so well for me.
I've seen them twice, the 2nd show was the best concert I have ever been to in my life.

Great win for 21 Pilots.
I don't get the amount of hate they get on this site.
They are like ICP if they were actually talented.

I like my music to have melody and understandable lyrics, not screeching gibberish and atonal noise.
I'm glad you like it, it is not for me though.
