Any particular reason why this movie took 3 years to get released?

    Buftholomew!

Without the laugh track the show is just a group of people being assholes to an autistic man.

Braun knows from his time with the Wyatts to be wary of dark magiks, though he fears no mortal man. At least that's what we tell ourselves to make that moment make any sense.

The US Championship is now the top singles heavyweight title on RAW since the Fruit Rollup is now in part timer land. I really hope that Jericho plays up this point in promos in the run up to Mania.

    Bill the Cat agrees.

During my brief career as a call centre minion, I was pleased to hear from a few customers that I didn't sound like a Maritimer. My hopes of being accent free were dashed by visiting Toronto and having people assume I was a Newfie.
    I'm from PEI.

"Properly" was admittedly a bit dickish sounding. English indeed has many weird and wonderful accents. My point was that we pronounce u and w as different sounds in Canada. Depending on the accent, British ou sounds seem more like the Canadian than the American version to me. The Canadian sound is also influenced by

I've heard that Bob and Doug invented hosebag, then shortened to hoser because they couldn't say douchbag on the air at the time.

We are actually just saying about properly as though it has a o followed by a u. Americans tend to substitute an aOW sound. (Offer not valid in Wisconsin) U and W are different sounds. U is a shorter clipped W. That's why the longer sound is called a "double U".

If you're gonna fight Canadian Satanists you really need Rowsdower and a whiny effeminate kid in a sweatervest.

And fake Tor Johnson, George Steele.
Roddy Piper was never going to win any acting awards but I will fight
anyone who claims that They Live would have been better without him.
    Edge did OK on Haven.
One of the huge dudes in the new Mad Max was briefly in WWE as well.

I wonder if the estate of Osamu Tezuka will finally decide that they want their cut for the IP theft of Kimba the White Lion.

The Jaunt and the flying vampire kid from the movie version of Salem's Lot seem to come up a lot in discussions of things that scared the shit out of kids who grew up in the 80s. I haven't read a lot of King since the end of the Dark Tower, but I wish he'd publish more fucked up short stories.

CROW T. ROBOT: "Whadda ya think he's got in all them pouches?"
TOM SERVO: "Hamdingers." (PAUSES) "Possibly his feet."

"I thought Derry was just a quick jaunt down the pike?"
"Oh, it's longer than you think Father."

I gotta read that one again. I'll have to find an old copy though because I think that's one of the ones he Lucased to fit better into the Dark Tower universe.

That's why everyone in Maine is required to keep radishes in their gardens, as an offering.

Yay, it's downs syndrome Sonic Youth!
