I skipped the fourth one, but hoped that this one would bring some of those Verbinski-esque crazy visuals back Doesn't sound like it did.

At least you can play The Last Guardian now.

Guess it might be about time I got one of those new consoles.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

The word filler should be taken out back and dealt with swiftly. Such lazy and meaningless criticism.

The karaoke bit isn't actually from the main hotel episode (International Assassin) but from the last episode.

People seem to hate a lot of things these days.

Sense8 is a fantastic experience so I envy you. Wish I could see it again for the first time. Enjoy the ride.

I watched Frost/Nixon.

Lou wasn't super complex or anything, but at least he felt like an actual character who belonged in the universe.

I find her the least interesting part of the show, by far. Does anyone even know what her name is? Everyone just calls her Carrie Coon it seems.

The word gratuitous really has lost all meaning.

No it wouldn't.

As much as this is a slow burn drama and even though it's inspired by actual stuff that went down during the 80's, it's still a a show and a spy show on top of that. It's never going to be a realistic exploration of actual spy work, since that wouldn't be dramatically satisfying.

I have only listened to it sporadically, but it's really good. I should go back and listen to the stuff I missed.

This was almost too intense at times.

Well, I wasn't.

I didn't have any specific expectations, certainly not some sort of fan fiction spreadsheet about what needs to happen like this reviewer, so I wasn't disappointed.

I don't feel they have much in common. Fuller is like a slick, mainstream wannabe Lynch, at best. None of the real weirdness or phantasmagorical imagery, just a souped up attempt to emulate what makes Lynch special.

Damn, hadn't thought about this show since it aired. Blast from the past.
