You're right. Wikipedia says the same, I just can't read.

The second one. If I recall correctly, it has some real nifty Hitchcockian/De Palmaesque scenes. Though I also have a soft spot for the third one, despite it being kind of like other 80's slashers. I just really love Perkins in the role.

I definitely agree. Do not jump in with season five, start at the beginning.

Depends on how you feel about changes to the film. If you can't stand any changes at all, it won't be for you. For one, it takes place in modern day, but there's plenty of other things too. It's a good show though, especially later on. Season four is legit great TV.
