I thought it was lazy when True Blood jumped forward in their finale, but that show sucks, so they have an excuse.
It was not nearly as monumentally moving as the showrunners had imagined. Maybe, tear a star off the wall and give it to Brody's family?
I wish they hadn't crammed Brody in Caracas into one episode.
Ron Wood's lyrics would be unintelligible; it was Ronnie Lane who sang.
There's a reason why David O. Russell isn't bringing his American Hustle costume designer around with him, or Steve McQueen his cinematographer, or Will Ferrell his set decorator.
It's more believable and interesting that Carrie fight authority, and not *be* authority.
He phoned in that Dennis Quaid movie.
"I'm not saying that Matthew McConaughey should be hauling garbage, I'm saying that Matthew McConaughey *is* garbage!"

"Tableau: The Series"
How could you not find him compelling after the look on his face he gives to the guy who called him "Goldstein?"
The bank teller who didn't say hello, or Tim Whatley.

Dudes appear out of nowhere just to get mowed down.
I feel like they could have continued with him indefinitely. Switch to him for two minutes at a stretch, two or three times per season, languishing in his Caracas hellhole.
I'd love to see a new main character. Flip every episode back and forth between family tension, and his time served in past tours overseas. 55 straight minutes of him sitting in an alley next to a Humvee shooting off TOW missiles, guys taking pots shots off roofs, calling in fire support, etc. That's an episode. Next…
I don't think it's Dexter bad (yet), I just think it's superficially going through the motions.
