So many comments with so little thought. It's like you all are the same person, devoid of an once of independent thought.

Maybe women have other interest or consideration besides being away on location half the year, working long hours, stress, etc?

Yes, you must champion women in their fight for equality in Hollywood or you are a sexist!!!!!
I voted for gay marriage but could care less about gay activist and such (they are almost militant these days).
Apparently, that makes me homophobic. LOL.
The bar has changed, its all PC now. PC is the rule by which you are

Challenge it all you want, I'm fine with that. What I don't like is the fabrication of a general narrative that doesn't exist. Take a look at the post, its all A.V. Club members batting themselves on the back for another trite comment about a group that doesn't exist as a group.

I'm typing on my phone. It autocorrected.

Do you even see the irony your comment?

I researched it and found no serious effort to change the cast, nor concerted movement, nothing just annobymous people bitching, you seem to take that seriously, I don't.

Your right, my discussion is outside the scope of this single article. Well, so is almost all the other comments.

I didn't know you were a women, nor do I care in the slightest.

Fair enough. However, the commments are not focused on what Kristen said. They are larger in scope which I think is appropriate since every couple weeks we get the same narrative.

True, but this the latest in a string of stories about this very same thing. That is "people" being upset about the female cast, not so much whether actress or actor X is upset.

And? I'm sorry, a single post or even a dozen in a country of 300 million is hardly indicative of anything.

Have you read the comments? Its part of the war on women narrative. It's as if you can't legitimately criticize the move.. if you do, your sexist.

Hardly, you never had goal post. Mine are fixed as are my requirements for something to be taken seriously.

Ah, so a few people complain using zero effort annonymous methods and it's worthy of a story?

Oh my!! Someone sent out harsh tweets!!

LOL.

What is "quite a few"? The number of people criticizing the casting of women is very small. Some criticize the gender swap as lazy of the studios. That's a legitimate criticizing. However, there is little, very little, anti women posts

I questioned the narrative that there is a "backlash" and asked for examples and you attack me personally.

Do I acknowledge there are some people that complain slit in the annonymous internet ? Yes.
